No, you’re really not.
There is nothing dodgy about investment.
It is actually a good thing…
Cinciwolf should count himself extremely fortunate that he never has to visit the Black Country.
<shudder>
Without the owners coming in 13 years ago, City would have most certainly not won the amount of trophies that they have. But to say they wouldn’t have won anything is a fallacy. No one can possibly know if City (an established PL club) may or may not have won a domestic cup or not in those 13 years.
What we do know however is Wolves haven’t won anything during this time.
You’ve had investment. You’ve a stand named after an investor into your club. And it was significant investment when it happened. It enabled you to leap frog over many other clubs.
Your entire argument is to belittle City’s achievements (and in turn belittle the club) because it has benefitted from investment. Well, so has your club.
Don’t be one of those idiots who dismisses it all by saying it’s nothing but a lottery.
The entire history of the game - which clubs grew and rose to the top - can be dismissed using that argument.
I was merely reacting to some strange comment by another Wolves fan.
Why don’t you buy yourselves some supporters next?

Amazing to me that with the variant erupting they allowed that many people into the game or any event for that matter
Quite clearly they have decided that losing lives isn't that important given the reopening coming up this week

Man City are doing the sensible thing and continuing with their policy of the last 10 years regarding strict Social Distancing in the Emptihad! ππ

Back to the subject of my original post..... I spoke to the ticket office, and they are awaiting information from the FA.....I think we can take the comment that Man City have returned 15,000 unsold tickets fake news !
At this rate we will have to pick up our tickets outside the Wembley turnstiles !!
Come back with your ‘’no fans’ jibes when you can match our 44,000 season ticket holders.
Leicester City v Manchester City
Saturday 7th August 2021
Kick off – 5.15pm
The Club has received an allocation of 26,602 tickets located in the East end of Wembley Stadium. Qualifying supporters can purchase up to two tickets each for this fixture.

This can be on your device or a printout. The test needs to be taken within 48 hours of the time stadium gates open (meaning three hours before match kick-off).
