‘Whoever says that Kroenke doesn’t spend or isn’t interested in Arsenal is a myth’

Only idiots think KSE don’t spend.

Only idiots think their spending proves their interest.

Spurs and Leicester will probably still finish above them.

He obviously won’t go to Arsenal. Would be a shocking move for him.

If we pull off Locatelli, Aouar, Ben White and a GK + RB (if Bellerin leaves), we will take leaps forward.

Not with Arteta we won’t. Whilst none of these guys are world class, they’re a start. But still need a proper coach to get their best out

Locatelli is a really good player. Feel like you are paying well over the odds with White though.

Financed by shifting money from one bank to another.

Issue has always been HOW ke spends and not how much. His way of transfer spending has always been to inflate the player's wage in order to get said player to push his club into a transfer for a much lower fee than they want. Hs interference in just how money gets spent in the football area has been feckin up everything for years. Had he just handed over the money, left it to football people to decide how and where it got spent and fecked off, we'd likely have faired far better in the transfer market over the last 10 years.

As for all these deals, people really need to look further than the ends of their noses. Most of the players we are going for are likely to be able to get better offers from clubs with European football if not CL. There is absolutely NOTHING attractive about the prospect of becoming an Arsenal player right now. Club's a mess and the manager's a rude obnoxious tyrant who blames his players for his own mistakes/failures and won't think twice about costing his players national team places and just sh !tting all over a players career all season, in a personal vendetta over petty BS.

Anyone who isn't some naive optimistic kid to young to know better and would still look at us now and sign, is a player we don't want because he's nothing more than a straight up merc who has just come for the money. Because he damned sure ain't gonna be coming because he thinks he'll be winning anything meaningful in the next 5 years..

Hmmm following that logic that means we wouldn’t be buying anyone of proven quality and only buying potential? I think there’s room for buying both but agree we’ve tipped the balance too much towards the buying of experienced players over the last few years. The current purchases and attempted purchases of younger players is refreshing

I love this idea that Kroenke’s negotiating all the transfers.

Reports are suggesting that Sassuolo have accepted our bid, but Locatelli wants to join Juve and it’s our job to convince him to come to Arsenal. I think that’s fair enough - he’s Italian and they’re a much better team than us. I just hope that if he does end up here, he doesn’t waltz around like we owe him something. Haven’t seen much of him but he seems to be a decent player.

Now Tavares, Lokonga and White are done deals, I’d love if we could sign any 2 from this four - Locatelli, Bissouma, Maddison, Aouar.

We’re on the verge of having a great transfer window if we don’t screw up this run-in to the season (this also assumes that we shift all our deadwood).

He's a good player, but if Partey rediscovers his form, he won't even be our best midfielder. That alone would probably humble him.

Manuel Locatelli will prefer to stay at Sassuolo than join Arsenal. It will either be Juve or Sassuolo for the player. [@DiMarzio
