More Kane rubbish?

If Kane does that then that’ll make the fans turn on him

Hasn’t there been mentioned the possibility of a gentleman’s agreement between Kane and Levy? If true and Levy has backtracked, that context might offer this story more weight.

But surely the more logical move would be to officially request to be transferred.

Bake was different from Kane, he didn’t come from our academy and went for a world record fee.

Also Bale went to Madrid as it was his dream move, he didn’t want to go to another Premiership team.

I could suck it up if Kane went to Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern, even Juventus as well. But he can go fack himself if he goes to a Premiership club.

Kane must be more stupid than he looks (and sounds) if he entered into Gentlemans Aggrement with Levy.

Kane won't do that. At the same time, those that think just because Nuno and the club have said that he's their player, it doesn't mean he's staying.
Kane 100% wants out, just how he plays it if no clubs make an offer spurs accept.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Completely agree

He definitely wants out and all Spurs fans know this !

It’s how he handles the situation when the low ball offers start

He can do a bale and down tools

Or do a modric and get on with it for at least another season

I wouldn't blame Kane one bit if he did that. I'd probably do the same if I were in his position. Why would he want to stay at this joke of a club?

It is probably the only way he gets his move this summer though, as Levy could then justify the sale to the fans.

I think narrowly missing out on a trophy at the Euros will make Kane even more determined to move away from Spurs and win something. It would seem unlike him to not turn up for training but who knows how determined he is to get away. The guy is closing in on 30, has come off the best season of his career, and is at a club with no future as far as he can see. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to stay and I wouldn't put it past him to put in a transfer request if things aren't progressing the way he hopes.

Kane must surely understand that a gentleman's agreement only works if the buying club make a reasonable offer. He knows his worth to the team, so must understand his value.

Levy not selling for 80-100m isn't reneging on his word, its clubs not valuing Kane enough to pay his worth.

Quite! Mind you, no wonder he's being hawked for daft money if he thinks Kane is stealing his crown as Mr Tottenham.

If we sell Kane it has to happen fast. No selling him last minute and replacing him with Frazier Campbell on deadline day.

The media have been desperate to sell Harry Kane away from Spurs for years, they know it will weaken Spurs, which in turn will strengthen the chances of their favourite clubs, those that generate them the maximum revenue.

Spurs are a threat to the SKY 4 cartel monopolizing CL revenues every year and in turn maximizing profits for SKY, it is in their interests to try and destabilize Spurs at every opportunity.

You will not see these kind of campaigns to transfer the best players away from the Varpools and Penited`s of this world.

As for gentleman`s agreements, this is almost certainly made up media shiete, as if a hard nosed businessman like Levy would agree to something that, and even if he did, it would be on the proviso that his valuation is met, which it won`t be.

Surely this news is worthy of headline news on Skyte Sports for days on end like when they were peddling the Kane wants to leave rumours......but oh wait, this does not fit in with the media agenda, and so will only get the briefest of mentions.

Kane definitely wouldn`t do that. But if he did, then Spurs would just say you aint going nowhere son, or not at least until your contract finishes in three seasons. So your choice if you want so sit on your backside for three years not playing, your call.

It actually might be easier on us if he does force the issue. That would speed things up. Otherwise I can see it drag on until near the end.

There is not a hope in hell of Levy allowing Kane to leave this season. I doubt next season either. Of course that will all change if a club comes up with a world record fee. I would say now in the region of £180 million, and Levy may be tempted.

This should be all about Spurs, and not about Kane. Who cares how many individual medals he wins, he is contracted to play for Spurs, and it is the club that counts not individuals.

Sorry Harry, you are stuffed, you have another three years left at Spurs. Make the most of it.

Who knows what will happen. If Kane makes it clear he wants to leave and makes the first move then Levy could be persuaded to sell at a lower figure than he's hoping. Could involve a player coming to us in which case it's going to be less.

I actually think if he did that quite a large portion of Spurs fans would back him over the Levy and the club itself. I think we all know that he is a very honourable player anyway. He's given us way more than any other player with his talent would normally do. For me, he's the best number 9 in world football and he's yet to win a thing. I don't blame him one bit. If, as has been mooted, he had a gentlemen's agreement to go this summer then Levy should honour it, providing the transfer fee is what we want.

Holding someone against their will, a person who has given us so much, a legend of the club, is just really, really bad form. It's such bad PR. If he dug his heels in, I'd back him over the club all day long. He deserves success and he's just not going to get it with us. If the offer hits 150m, we have to take it. It's fair.

Talk of a gentleman’s agreement is pure fiction. Show me where either Levy or Kane have said there is such an agreement.
Kane may well wish to leave, however he did sign a 6 year contract not too long ago and he has to realise actions have consequences.
I personally do not think it is in his nature to try and hold the club to ransom by threatening to down tools, by the same token I would let him move on if say City came in with an offer equivalent to £150m, either cash or a combination of cash and acceptable players.
