Is it to do with the incident or is it to do with an insurance payout?

That car was pretty facked

I’ve just read the quotes…

Sounds like sour grapes but if anything comes from this then the sport becomes a joke

It's to investigate the punishment handed out to Hamilton.i don't know if that means that they feel the stewards should have issued a harsher penalty or if they think the actual rule book is wrong.

Either way, forme they are overreacting big time and it shows a lack of confidence they can see out the season on top.

Is Christian Horner for feckin real?

https://www.gpfans.com/en/f1-news/67650/wolff-lobbying-of-f1-stewards-unacceptable-horner/

He says that when he was the first one whining like a batch to the stewards over the radio.

Delusional Kant.

Yeah, thought this was a bit over the top.

But Toto is just as big as a moaner as Horner.

But the off track shenanigans between the two are getting tiresome now.

So Horner registers the complaints and continues after the race... Mecedez is supposed to keep mum and offer no response ?

Pathetic really, I get Max wouldn’t want to lose his track position, especially to Lewis, but those saying he could have killed him are completely ignoring the fact that amax had the choice of how he took the corner, he wasn’t steam rolled off the the track.

On the BBC page there are over 7600 comments, mainly most of them saying it was Max fault. Max cut Hamilton, Hamilton did nothing wrong. I am not seeing it like that, clearly Hamilton had a meter left on the right, and you can see him understeer and then tap Max. So why are thousands of people seeing it differently?

And you seem to be ignoring the fact that Max gave Lewis more than enough room. Plus Lewis understeered into him.

51G impact is nothing to ignore. Being hit at nearly 200 mph because of a mistake (and missing the apex and understeering is a mistake) isn't racing. It happens of course, but Max did nothing at all that wasn't fair and within the rules.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I haven’t said Mac anything that wasn’t fair, but you’re ignoring the fact he knew Lewis was there as he clearly looked in his mirror before making the manoeuvre.

He knew Lewis was there and he did shut off the corner to him, so he’s no innocent party.

Responsibility to avoid the accident usually lies with:

A. The car that's behind
B. The car that's on the inside.

Hamilton was both in this case. Max taking an unusual line just to let him through simply isn't racing.

I do think the whole lawyer thing is over the top, but I can kind of understand it. I don't understand the insistence on blaming Max from an objective view, only from a biased one.

Red Bull have always been cry babies when things don't go their way, the disrespect they showed Renault during the early V6 Turbo Hybrid era after winning 4 titles with them, getting rid of Kvyat mid season and more.

They're lucky Honda gave them IP for their engines after deciding to leave the sport again, otherwise who else was gong to give them an engine? They're probably leaving because they can't deal with RB's politics and constant whinging. They make Ferrari look like saints.

Mercedes and Hamilton are in the same bracket, not sure why you have to single out Red Bull.

The moaning this year from Mercedes towards Red Bull has been pathetic.

Because Red Bull have been doing it for 7 years straight. Mercedes of course aren't going to be happy as this years rule changed handicapped them and suited Red Bull, but they've still got on with at and giving RB a run for their money. Even Stroll and Otmar at Aston Martin been complaining more than Mercedes who were also effected badly by the rule change.
