Lied about a victim of a racist bully.
was it actually a racist attack, or just kids fighting? did they actually talk about that at the trial, never seen the video of the kid before
Poor ickle Yaxley-Lennon.
It's amazing how many otherwise normal people actually support this moron.
It sounded like he jumped on a load of lies about the kid and decided to broadcast it before the facts were known. It's not a surprise he's got into trouble for it.
He's become even more erratic over the years.
I'll be honest, I did have sympathy with his story and the extremist element he had to deal with on his doorstep. There's no doubt that Choudary and the other Islamist nutcases in Luton gave rise to the EDL. Not a lot of people I know would have the balls to stand up like he did. It was a pressure movement and there did seem to be a change in the water afterwards. If the police were standing by allowing recruitment into the Taliban on the streets of England it's not a surprise there was a reaction. Sometimes it takes somebody with Robinson's character to kick up a bit of a fuss. Like it or not.
The trouble with Tommy Robinson was that his notoriety and the money went to his head. He could see there was money to be made in peddling hate and some of his stuff on social media, Parlour etc was beyond a joke.

The attacker and his mum were EDL supporters and with the help of Tommy spread these lies about the Victim, making the attacker seem like some kind of White Knight.
I really think with people like him they become more dangerous as you ban them from mainstream media.
He'll crawl into some corner of the Internet where people who want to listen to him will find him (one million people viewed this video ffs). And it will be on some platform where he can spout whatever he wants and go unchallenged.
We used to put people like this on Question Time and those Sunday morning BBC debate shows, where intelligent people could make a mockery of them in front of the entire nation. Its the way it should be.

That's when we started having Nick Griffin wearing suits and trying to legitimise the BNP.
Before you could take away their platform and their reach. Now, you can't do that. Anjem Chowdhury was much smaller than he was made appeared to be, but thanks to getting onto news sites, he was both made the face of Muslims (when his support in the country was miniscule), and, not only increased his reach, but pushed the Muslim stereotypes that the members of the EDL and BNP ascribe to Muslims mainstream.
There's no doubt that Choudary and the other Islamist nutcases in Luton gave rise to the EDL.

Imaging having Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon as your great hero of the white English master race.
Convicted of:
Assault (several times)
Assaulting a police officer (far right always love the cops until they decide to attack them)
Drug possession (standard)
Football hooliganism (also standard)
Illegal immigration (to USA, on forged documents)
Mortgage fraud (ooh, getting a bit middle class now)
Contempt of court (trying to collapse the case against child abusers)
Still, the utterly braindead will hand over their hard-earned cash to this millionaire criminal in order to protect the great nation of England from those brown folk and their Muslamic ray guns.
