Only way I’m happy and others should be is if we replace him with an elite forward. Kane goes? You shove 130 mil on the table to try and get Haaland or someone of that ilk otherwise you keep Kane. Selling Harry and signing Danny Ings and the vampire name Vlahovic or who ever the f*+ he’s called, doesn’t cut it for me. Keeping Harry and buying Ings? Awesome. Different story altogether. Selling Harry is a disaster I’m sorry. Will set us back years.

If this happens I will finally be done with football, there is literally no point in being a fan anymore.
Financial doping, player power, buying success, cash is absolute king and what is the point of being an also ran every year, which is what we would be effectively accepting by selling out star player to another PL club.
I don`t care how much money it is, Harry Kane is an irreplaceable player and replacing him with a load of new players with zero PL experience, will likely end in tears once again, we have been here before remember.
If we had any kind of ambitious owners we would be building a team around Kane to win the PL, not selling him and replacing with a load of unproven gambles.

I'm surprised that people seem to be buying into a report in the sun. Whilst what Nuno has said means very little ( all he's ever said is that he's looking forward to speaking to Kane, having him back and that he is a Spurs player) the fact that only the sun are saying it means that it is likely BS.

Abit of pragmatism would not go amiss Don. Haaland can attract bigger clubs and would want CL football.
Ings and another striker with Son and Scarlett might be ok. One benefit of selling Kane is we can now attract strikers and offer them a place in the team.
If we can build a good defence with the money and buy a replacement i am ok with that. This is proper rebuild money. Paratici seems to have more about him than Baldini.Lets see how everything plays out before losing our marbles.

Yep. If Kane were to be sold for 160 mil which I wouldn’t be happy with either way, it would certainly soften the blow if we were to replace with an elite striker. Like for like. You don’t sell your 600,000 pound 6 bedroom house and downgrade to a park home do you ? You buy like for like, or you upgrade. Same principle. Spurs should be investing all that money on an elite striker to replace him. Not Danny Ings and count f** Dracula from Serie A who’s had 1 good season. Then you sell the deadwood like Sanchez etc to raise funds for the other players like Romero, Gollini etc etc. Spurs won’t do this though. They will pocket half the Kane money and spend it on a bunch of nobody’s.

I agree this is most likely bolllocks. Cannot see City spending that money.
But if it were true I would be happy with it.
The main issue is we won't be able to get anyone near his quality to replace him. However, if the money were spent well and we brought in quality CB's and a RB imo that would improve us as a squad that how we are with Kane.
Talk of Haaland etc is deluded. Why the fack would he come here even if we could afford him. I think the best solution would be to sign two strikers. One would be Danny Ings, probably only around £25m and a known quantity who is proven prem level quality and the other would be a younger 'high ceiling' player. Maybe someone like that Isak from Sweden?

Kane has offered all he possibly could’ve done for this club now. If he stays for one more season, are we really going to win anything next season? He has excelled at a rate that the club hasn’t kept up with. This is what happens at Spurs. Bale, Modric, Kane etc at the start of their tenures, they’re relative nobody’s. They improve and rather than our club building a team around them, we don’t kick on. We sell them on.
No one even 80% of kane would want to join us with no CL
This could simply be the figure Levy has put on Kane`s head, meaning that if a club pays £160m he can leave.
I think it is unlikely this valuation will be met, even by the financially doped Mansour FC, it is unlikely they will spend that kind of money on a 28 year old, but who knows with £ity, they have more money than a lot of countries.
We should not be selling him at any price, whether he wants to go or not is irrelevant, it sends out all the wrong messages to the fans, and us Spurs fans have suffered long enough under the misery of ENIC.
I get the anger at selling Kane, but personally, I think £160m for 28 year old player who wants out it is too good to turn down.
I’ll be gutted to see him go, but absolutely understand the decision. If we were to block his move, we’d have an unhappy player who’s motivation will be diminished. He probably has another year or two at his peak. We can give the money to Paratici and utilise his contacts to build a squad.

Yep, he is priceless. We sell Kane at no price unless a player of his ilk were coming in like Haaland which we all know isn’t happening, so Harry Kane stays. End of story.
It's the Sun ffs, does anyone really believe 2 of the biggest clubs in the PL are going to give the Sun an exclusive on their dealings?
It is either true or made up to sell newspapers, the latter being much more likely.
I think this deal has been agreed for a while tbh. The minute England lost the Euros final was the moment that confirmed Kane wasn't coming back for me.
It makes sense for us to make all the noises that he's staying before we sell him late so that any player prices we pay aren't jacked up with a 'Kane money' tax. It also explains why we are inexplicably able to table huge money (if the deals being talked about come to fruition).
I'd take £100million plus a player or two. If Harry thinks trophies are going to bring him happiness over being a club legend then that's his choice to make.
