Only way I’m happy and others should be is if we replace him with an elite forward. Kane goes? You shove 130 mil on the table to try and get Haaland or someone of that ilk otherwise you keep Kane. Selling Harry and signing Danny Ings and the vampire name Vlahovic or who ever the f*+ he’s called, doesn’t cut it for me. Keeping Harry and buying Ings? Awesome. Different story altogether. Selling Harry is a disaster I’m sorry. Will set us back years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ings and.Vlahovic would be decent replacements for Kane.

Still don't think Kane has been as loyal as people make out.

I get the anger at selling Kane, but personally, I think £160m for 28 year old player who wants out it is too good to turn down.

I’ll be gutted to see him go, but absolutely understand the decision. If we were to block his move, we’d have an unhappy player who’s motivation will be diminished. He probably has another year or two at his peak. We can give the money to Paratici and utilise his contacts to build a squad.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane`s motivation would remain, he is too professional and still loves Spurs, he has all kinds of individual records to target also, and we know he is chasing those.

He could also play on well into his 30`s, he looks after himself and is a model pro. Paratici may have a large book of contacts, but he does not know the PL, and we have proved before that bringing in a load of players from abroad with no PL experience, is unlikely to end well.

We would have to replace 70 odd goal involvements (Bale and Kane), from 2 PL proven players. Carlos kickaball from Serie A would be a clear downgrade.

It's the Sun ffs, does anyone really believe 2 of the biggest clubs in the PL are going to give the Sun an exclusive on their dealings?

It is either true or made up to sell newspapers, the latter being much more likely.

It’s come from somewhere mate. The sun don’t just pluck stories out from their a** and splash it on the front page. It might of come from Harry’s agent brother, but it’s come from somewhere. No smoke without fire.

To date, how has Kane been unloyal?

Seems like it's all just media talk at the moment. I hope it does go through so it can put the rumour to bed finally this summer.

Kane leaving Spurs has always had an air of inevitability about it. You can count on one hand how many players have stayed at one club throughout their career.

We've come close. Champions league final, domestic cup semi's and finals, title races, but if Harry wants guaranteed titles at a club like City how can we compete?

It's a shame that the promise of success and riches is to much of a draw for players at a club like City with everything their club stands for. It's not a true accomplishment in my eyes. It's a view I've always held and isn't a bitter reaction to the news that broke last night. I've even heard some supporters clamouring for a regime in the same vein as City's. I wouldn't be happy with that. The Arabs over there have a got a distorted view of the world and it's not something I would want my football club to be associated with. Whatever hollow prosperity that would bring. If players want a part of it, good luck to 'em.

Kane will be a miss but we we've managed without him in the past and done pretty well. It will fix our issues at the back and build a team that isn't organised around one player. 160m certainly softens the blow.

I think the Sun is a piece of filth but for once it seems at least semi-plausible that the reporter in question, who is a family friend, picked something up at Kane's brother's (who is his agent) wedding. Mountain of salt and all that though

David Ornstein calling the Sun story bulls** so that’s a bit of positivity. He’s basically saying what we all know is if City we’re to cough up the 160 mil Spurs want, then there’s a strong possibility Spurs would sell, but he’s saying this isn’t happening like the Sun have said. Basically reiterating Spurs are keeping Harry. No way should any Spurs fan be advocating selling him, madness

Kane would be trading immortality at his boyhood club for a few easy and virtually meaningless league titles and cups.

Staying at Spurs and winning just 1 piece of silverware would carry way more kudos and sense of achievement than anything he would ever win at £ity.

depends if City actually will bid £160m

dont think he is gone at all, not sure City will pay the fee, maybe £110m and a player or two, but said players wont wanna join us

hes gone next summer unless we have an insane season. then we just get him leaving out the way early and get a couple of top quality attacking players to try and make up for the lost goals.

Irrespective of what eventually happens, this story is complete and utter bull.

Honestly guys do not get wound up by a made up story in the sun.
