Should anyone want a listen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks but it's still not allowed in USA. Don't know why as I've never had any trouble in the past.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Chigago. Well I just listened and it all sounded (tentatively) promising. Seems as though we're talking to HMRC regarding making payments - which should free up more space to make more signings. We're also talking to the EFL and it again sounds like both sides want to reach a conclusion....although we dont agree (presumably) on how the player amortisation is shown on the accounts and (again) trying to reach a compromise. Finally there are on going talks with a party to take over the club but we're reluctant to name anyone as we have previously done....so it's all wait and see.....but hopefully in the next 2 weeks we'll see progress in all those areas...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Many thanks, Terry - all good to know.

I guess we should be careful what we wish for. I believe Swansea have American owners and much of what their fans say about those guys is nigh-on unprintable.
If Bobby Duncan does leave for Denmark, it creates another transfer slot. As his only appearance for Derby was in FA Cup. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Don't think so as the EFL have said that appearance does not matter so he does not count towards the 23 players of professional standing allowed. Therefore that number will not be reduced if he leaves so there is no slot to refill. (Sounds a bit complicated but I think that is right.)
Duncan leaving doesn’t free a space for a new signing but it get the ball bag off the wage bill
Duncan and Ibe both stole a wage off the club for a year

I think the list of 'players who stole a wage at the club' is going to be absolutely massive under Mel's tenure.
Blimey :
From The Times -
"Jack Wilshere has been training at Derby County after being released by Bournemouth. The midfielder, 29, knows Wayne Rooney, the Derby manager, from their time with England. He made 17 appearances for Bournemouth after his move in January but is now a free agent after the club lost in the Sky Bet Championship play-offs semi-finals to Brentford.
Wilshere spent two years with West Ham United after leaving Arsenal, but featured only 19 times for the club in an injury-hit spell. He was paid £3.3 million to terminate the final year of his contract last summer."
Shame we haven’t the money to sign him

He's not at Derby to sign for us, we just want to borrow few quid from him.
It was indicated last night he hasn't been training with Derby and will not feature vs Real Betis. Let's wait and see later today.
Will Real Betis be showing the game for free via a YouTube link similar to Salford?
Regards J Wilshire, I hope it's not true. He always struck me as more hype than actual talent. 30 games in three years means he'll be good for 10 mates out of 46 ( give or take). We need hungry players looking to prove a point, players who receive 3.3 million payouts to be released don't strike me as that.

Two wonderkids Jack Wilshire and Ross Barkeley, neither set the world alight. There was a guy called Ravel Morrison about then as well that they were bigging up. Wonder what happened to him?

They might not be world beaters, but I would say that they are a tad better than we have at the moment
So our proud and dignified manager has had his knuckles well and truly rapped according to Jim White and while MM has branded WR's recent nightlife escapade as totally unacceptable it apparently does not warrant a sacking. In other words a sacking would be too expensive. I must say that sacking one and finding another manager right now would be an absolute disaster for DCFC. As if we don't have enough problems. But please grow up Wayne!
The Derby way is to sack the victim not the perp. Just as Richard Keogh was seriously injured as passenger in a car driven by someone over the influence and gets the sack unlike the driver who is now captain. So we should expect Jason Knight to be sacked for being injured by Wayne Rooney.
