Great news for the rest of the league. Which other elite club in world football would gladly have Ole as their manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny how fans of one of the 18 teams who finished behind him are happy about this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That’s because we’ve been pure liquid sheite for 2 seasons. If we could get our act together then United under Ole would be a legitimate target as they are the weakest of the elite sides
----------------------------------------------------------------------

3rd place and 2nd place in last seasons says we aren't the weakest surely?

Rob, stop trying to make Arsenal becoming good a thing. Even Arsenal Football Club aren’t trying to do that.

Sorry, what?

I’m happy with the long term effect he’s had, and having on the squad and club in general which is a huge change from when he came in. Desperately need a trophy this year though, not just for him but it would be great for so many of our young players. I do think we’ll see an improvement in the league again, in terms of consistency against the lesser sides. The progress is clear imo.

Ole signed da thing

Finished above Yellow teeth once. He can do it again. 😂

Against the most injury hit team of all time.

Ole will continue to dodge trophies so the rest of the PL are delighted.

Great work agent Ed 👏

I’m being slightly mischievous but it is true - for the last 60% of last season they were the second best side in terms of points gained.

Obviously I wouldn’t be surprised if they finished 12th this season. But that form was real form and having no Europe might make them half decent this season if they actually make good signings. Probably not though 😅

I’d imagine there’s a fairly small release clause to sack him and knowing the stand up guy he is, I’m sure he would have agreed to it. He’s been backed like no other United manager since SAF so he has no more excuses. This season will tell us a lot about how good he is considering chelsea finally have a good manager, Arsenal were the second best side in the league for most of last season and don’t have European distractions and I doubt Liverpool will be as bad this time around.

It would be totally us if we finished 6th the season we just extended the managers contract when it wasn’t the necessary thing to do 😅

Sorry, did you just say Arsenal were the second best side in the league for most of last season?

Because most neutrals would rather see United fail, which is why keeping Ole is a good thing

It’s just such a bizarre stat (which in all honestly says more about how weak the league was than how good Arsenal were) but I’m milking it 🙃

All I remember is Arsenal losing to Villarreal in the semi before we did. Not exactly great.

We've seen progression under Ole, most of it being behind the scenes. We've now got a good core of young players, and the youth team is littered with possible stars. The culture of the club has changed, we seen how toxic it was at the club under Jose.

Each year we have seen progression, the rebuild was going to be slow. Let's see what he can do this year, he really needs to win a cup or challenge at very minimum in the league.

Ole is taking us in the right direction, he has steadied the ship. Whether he can take us above and beyond and win trophies remains to be seen, but he deserves a new deal for the turnaround.

The final 60% of the season so I guess that’s the final 23 or so league games of the season

Great, like I’ve said United fans will be happy as will the rest of the league.

I wouldn’t be anywhere near this board if United has just announced Conte
