I think we've probably pulled off a bargain, strangely enough.

Good luck trying to sign any current member of Gareth Southgate's 26-man England squad for anything less than £50m.

Maybe one of the reserve keepers if you're lucky.

Certainly possible.

But that's still an awful amount of money for a 31-year old fullback with only 2 years left on his contract.

Looks like hed got all the attributes but then agin so does gomez. Just hope he can complete a full season unlike most our other cbs.

okay.....looks like you have a new favourite team.

He's an excellent player. He's not the finished article, but his combination of size, speed, and passing make him perfectly suited to Liverpool's system and give him a very high ceiling.
He has had one very major injury though which hopefully doesn't impact him too much going forward.
