What if the statement is " Kane looks like he is trying to engineer a move away from WHL by throwing a strop"?
We already know what is going on, Kane will be allowed to leave if our valuation is met. He won't be allowed to leave on the cheap, it's all very simple. This has been the situation all summer.
It would be good if we came out and said publicly we will sell Harry Kane if we receive an offer of £150m in the next two weeks.
If we did that then we literally wouldn’t have to do or say anymore, it would be up to the other parties
Not like this is the first time this situation has arisen at spurs ….same old Sheeet
Good to hear from you Sandy hope all is well pal.

At least the fans will know, and can then stop buying Kane shirts, or burn the ones they have.

Problem is Billy, has an offer of £160 million actually come in, if not, Kane needs to knuckle down. The club issuing a statement will shut up the Kane rumours once and for all.
Otherwise it will just be drip, drip nonsense from the likes of Sky and Talkshitte for the rest of the week.

So why does Simon Stone feel the need to write an article every day, pretending that he has the inside track ?
Seriously, to me this is really not that much of a story of which the details are very basic. City give Levy what he wants and Kane goes. If not and there is no other club rich enough for Levy to mug off, then he stays.
The media really are getting their knickers in a right 'ol twist, trying to come up with different angles on the same story every day. Comical really.

Talking to yourself again?
The difference between Kane's current salary and the rumoured City contract over the next 4 years is £40 million.
Kane can make it easier for everyone if he accepts trophies over no pay rise.
But there’s no need for a statement though is there?
You’ve been banging on for ages telling everyone that Spurs hold all the ace’s and that’s that!
What’s changed?
I'd leave it a week or so if I was the club.
Not like being in the media is new to us over the past 4 months.
Surely Kane has his team mates messaging him asking what's going on. Pretty sure I'd be getting hold of someone who went awol from work.
Give it a week, if he still hasn't shown for training then issue a statement after consideration. Any statement made now would look rash and reactive.

Someone else.
I genuinely believe that, if he truly had an agreement with Levy that he could leave should a £100m bid come in and Levy has reneged on that, Kane should develop a back injury and be out until January.
Insurance would pay his wages so Spurs wouldn't be out of pocket, it would give clarity to the tottenham manager that Kane couldn't be part of his plans and it would give Spurs fans a great reason to point their ire at Levy.
You can't be blamed for standing your ground and sticking to your guns when people back out of agreements.

Nothing has changed. The club can quash the rumours though once and for all. Spurs still do hold all the aces, but any professional organisation issues statements, when the media is running riot with unfounded news stories.
Sky report it is believed that Spurs are disappointed with Kane stance

Kane has an agreement, it is called a Contract, and he still has three years to finish it off. That is the only agreement that should be talked about.
Verbal agreements mean jackshite. It is like me saying to my bank I will pay back my mortgage, without any signed agreement. That is why you have to sign an agreement. No getting out of it then.
Even if Levy told Kane he would sell at 100M that would have been pre covid and the club took a huge financial hit he can blame Levy trying to maximise his sale.
He will only be sold if Levy gets what he wants. This will only turn the fans against him. Thats if he cares.
