Good. I’m glad he’s not happy. Maybe it will speed up even more.

He wasn’t here previously so with him on board and the stark reality as to where we are in the grand scheme of things is likely the rocket we need up our rse.

It is quite laughable the situation we are in from such a position of strength!!

We’ve all been there.

gross mismanagement of the football club as far as i'm concerned.

they need a DOF who can come in and troubleshoot, get what we need and get it quick.

they won't though, cause he will have a list of things and that involves other people having to do stuff and spend money so best just to not appoint one.

The worst part is, Ranger look like a well oiled machine of a club now in all areas from the commercial side to the footballing side! Its quite remarkable what has happened

I agree but I think we will pull out all the stops now. The damage from this mismanagement is huge and they know what happens when you take your eye off the ball as they did with Deila.

Look, I’ll be delighted if Hart can do a turn for us. Have already said he’s an upgrade on the ultra low bar of Barkas & Bain. He’ll certainly add much needed presence in goal. Just think all evidence suggests he’s phoning it in these days … and he couldn’t play as a sweeper keeper in his prime, so doubt he’s improved in that area after about 3 years of relative inactivity. Time will tell. Obviously needed him/anybody a month ago also.

I’ll be honest and say I haven’t exactly studied his career path over the last few seasons.

What I believe is that he will bring experience and all round ability. I never want to see any keeper of ours leave a near post gap like Barkas did when he took up position against West Ham. Basic primary schoolboy stuff

I suppose McCarthy and Hart coming in will raise the age of the team a bit, think ourselves and Livi have the youngest squads atm?

Can’t say I’ve seen too much of James McCarthy in recent seasons. Has he had injury problems, or has he had a decent amount of game time? Certainly an upgrade on Soro, if he can stay fit.

It’s fwcking obvious beyond even the dullest that we are in a huge transition which is long overdue so I think I’ll stick in the camp of “let’s give these guys a chance and wait and see”.

We’ve some whining entitled t@ssers in our support.
