For me he has forfeited any 'Spurs legend' status that was his for the taking by behaving in such a crass and puerile manner. I expected this sort of behaviour from mercenaries like Berbatov and Modric who clearly saw THFC as a stepping stone to supposedly bigger and better things (indeed it still sticks in my throat when I see Berbatov included in a parade of 'legends' at WHL). From someone who apparently has a deep emotional attachment to the club, it's simply unacceptable. I wonder if Man City fans will see him as a legend in two or three years time when his talent is on the wane and they splurge millions more on the next big thing? I suspect he'll be forgotten in an instant in favour of the current flavour of the month. Never mind, he can spend his retirement polishing the shiny baubles that he clearly so desperately wants, secure in the knowledge that he has alienated thousands of fans that used to idolise him. Apart from his likely return as an opposing player, I don't want him setting foot in WHL ever again

You've taken the whole saga well then.

He is still a legend to me. Fair enough there are ways to go about getting a move but maybe he feels this is the only way, and if it works then he's done what he had to do. If it doesn't work, no doubt Kane will get his head down and give us another year.

Most fans were happy with him wanting to get away before this, and were holding Levy responsible. Now it's like it's he's showing the first real signs he wants to leave by doing this and the fans can't take it and are turning on him. It seems a bit fickle.

His behaviour is unprofessional . If he does go it will mean £100-£120m available to spend.
Kane thinks that Levy said he could leave if Spurs didnt make TOP 4 . Dont go making handshake deals with Levy.
Let him go and wish him well
He's hardly a Sol

Don't really care to be honest. He's just a footballer.

He has behaved despicably and most of me says there is no way he should be allowed to leave before his contract his up. However, if he does force his way out now he won't be able to break the goal-scoring record of the one and only Jimmy Greaves for which I will be delighted.

Technically Levy hasn’t booking any deal. They didn’t agree the fee. If this gentleman’s agreement was true then Kane should tell us what the price was. Or did he think it meant he could leave on a free??

Away from Harry Kane, have a look at the following clip from last night.

Look at Harry Winks' and Skipp's effort in midfield here in the first 15 seconds. Same old soft centre Spurs. Our academy producing lightweight midfielders summed up perfectly.

After these shenanigans I don’t want to see another goal from Kane in a Spurs shirt….he doesn’t deserve to wear it

I know people are saying we should wait to hear from the man but surely his people have an ear and eye on public perception of the saga

If this was all a misunderstanding there would have been some sort of statement by now

You can't be the best spurs player of the last 50 years and not be a club legend because you're being a bit of a caaant when you're trying to leave
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don’t agree at all. If Harry moved to Arsenal, would you say the same thing ? Him being our best player in 50 years has no relevance if he’s disrespectful of the club and supporters. Reputation and legacy can vanish just like that in football. Nearly happened with Gerrard and 100% it would have happened if he moved to Chelsea. Liverpool fans were burning Gerrard shirts, so it can happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's huge difference between trying to force his way out to join city and trying to force his way out to join arsenal. It's totally incomparable.

As long as what he's doing now doesn't escalate then all will be forgotten, just like with modric and bale
----------------------------------------------------------------------

But your point was a player of his class for us and him trying to leave by being a cuuuuuuunt shouldn’t take away his legendary status, but on the other hand you are saying “if it’s Arsenal it’s different”. Can’t have it both ways mate. If Harry would of acted respectfully and allowed Spurs to possibly look at a transfer fee that is what want, instead of coming out towards the end of the season doing Gary Neville interviews expressing his desire to move Manchester City ( literally name checking their players ) he wouldn’t get this much stick.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is different if it's arsenal though.

It's not as simple as just "if he's acting like a cuuuunt then he's no longer a legend" - there are levels to cuuuuntiness. Him not coming to training is cuuunty but not to the point that he'd become hated

We will have to agree to disagree. I saw quite abit of the match and i noticed a couple of times Skipp looked out of his depth. One time he was surrounded by two or three Chelsea players near the touchline and played a hit and hope pass. Another time he just got bullied off the ball then this incident here.

He has played a few games prior to this already in pre season so no excuse about being rusty.

Billy Gilmour for example is way ahead of Skipp and Skipp is older. He needs another loan. Curtis Jones of Liverpool is better too.

I’m not saying injure the guy but let him know you are there ….seen it all too often over the years from our academy products in that position

Hoping it’s a one off from skipp as I have high hopes

I miss the days of freund ! He was a bit rubbish but you didn’t pass him with ease!

The pace of the first half was played at prem level. Hopefully Skipp will learn he has to impose himself more when given his next opportunity.
