Pep said that they were still trying for Kane, but if Spurs refused to negotiate then that is it.
I think they will plunge for him, and they'll shed Jesus and Bernardo which will generate a lot of cash.

I think we have the worst ore season out of the lot, even though we have done our business early, the first team are only just returning to training less than 2 weeks before the season starts.
Add the Covid outbreak and you’re left with 12-15 players who didn’t have a pre season.
United should have a better start to the season than last year because the bonus is in the absence of the journeyman rashford. The extra bonus in that, is that should/could/would allow Pogba to play in a more advanced, creative, role. Win-Win. The problems may well return, however, when rashford returns.
That being said United were fortunate last season that Chelsea had a poor start.
Third is the best this current United squad can achieve, and third they will achieve.
there will probably be a lot more transfer activity (ins and outs) for all the main contenders in this window yet, especially in the last week, so predicting next season's final placings is a waste of time at the moment.

If Grealish settles quickly it’ll still be extremely difficult to challenge City.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we finished above one or, or both, of Chelsea and Liverpool, however.

It’s mad how strong the prem is this year. Top 4 have all strengthened and should be a hell of a battle for the title.
Spurs have gotten better IF they keep Kane. Arsenal are doing fack knows what.
Then Leicester and Villa have strengthened really well, even without Grealish i am a big fan of this Villa squad.
Also palace have made some shrewd signings, if Viera is any good as a manager then they could be quite good to watch.
