Need a good performance today to instill some confidence, we've not got going yet at all. Bad starts can be fatal also. I think we'll be ok this season, but I'll be astonished if we match last season going on our current squad and form. Would be nice to have a run in the cup but we have the worst squad depth in the league. We just seem to do our transfer business very late compared to other sides.
Bielsa is at the helm, nothing to worry about.

What do Leeds fans want/expect this season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ideally, a similar season to last season, maybe push on and steal a Europa league place. If we added the quality needed, Bielsa could do it. Another mindset would be top 14 and maybe a good cup run. Some will just be happy if we stayed up. Club seem to want to just make the numbers up, the squad is smaller than last season so we can rule the cups out.
Very cagey transfer window all around, I predicted 12th last season and would be more than happy to finish mid table again playing the most entertaining football in the division.
I like how th club operates in the market these days.
We keep it on the downlow until the pmayer actually comes in, there is always going to be rumours and it is pretty known what we need or want but the club won't make a huge song and dance about it like we have done in the past.
There is still plenty of time left in the window so I don't think its quite right to even think about writing off this window just yet
Don’t panic. We have some good players and some great youth coming through.
Pre season has been low key but trust in Bielsa.

1/ what “stars” at Sheff Utd do you talk of? I don’t see a swarm of clubs trying to sign any of these “stars”. They’ve gone down and they’ve got the same team!
I’d argue that Sheff Utd found a system to suit, had no injuries for 2 seasons and under guidance of a proven manager excelled. They actually changed their side quite a lot last season - some new signings but also had some key injuries. I don’t see any stars in their team - just a hardworking bunch who had a brief period of success.
2/ i find the term “the likes of cooper, Ayling Dallas etc quite derogatory. These lads are hero’s and always will be. Why on earth will they go backwards? Of course there is chance that players cannot sustain performances but to write off half a team in a sentence is both ridiculous and crass.
3/ Rodrigo Costa koch poveda are bunched as never been more than average - what sort of comment is this? Rodrigo has played high end Spanish tier 1 and champions league! Koch a full German international, poveda is only 21!!
Inactivity in the transfer market - how much of the £25million spent did you contribute. Will you be contributing some more funds to buy this unnamed inspirational player?
Seriously one of the worst articles ever written and goes in the same bottom drawer as Lowfields.

1/ The reason I put the word stars in quotes was to suggest I was using it loosely. Collins dictionary definition of QUOTES :-to indicate an unusual use of a word,to suggest that the writer wants to be distanced from a word.
They were indeed,as you say,a hard working bunch who had a brief period of success, I don't want us to be the same is my point.
2/ Nothing derogatory intended, yes massive performances from them over the last three years but my fear is they have reached a peek & wont improve.
3/ They have been no better than average as I stated.
I suspect my contribution was pretty similar to yours financially.
You should learn that we are all entitled to our opinion.
