I think we’re in a win-win position with Kane regardless of what happens.
Stand our ground (because we hold all the cards) and we keep a world class striker. Sell and we get the money we need for the ‘painful’ rebuild that is 3 years overdue. £120m and Laporte would do for me, then go out and get Martínez, Tomiyasu and a creative midfielder.
I wouldn’t object to selling Ndombele this summer either. We need to move on from the horror show of the last 24 months and he’s been as much a part of that as anyone. The more I think on it, the more I’m in favour of a root and branch rebuild under Paratici at Spurs, rather than clinging onto the dying embers of the peak Poch years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't see anyone buying Ndombele as he is on £200k a week. We are stuck. The player needs to raise his game.
Agree about the win win bit regarding Kane. Seems we already have a budget for transfers (Romero and bidding €60m for Martinez), should Kane be sold that budget will only increase. Happy Days.
Personnally I think Kane has mentally left the club and a deal with City will come. For Pep to talk about Kane publicly must mean he wants him badly. The rumours about them signing Grealish and Kane started months ago and the fact they haven't even considered Messi tells me, they want and will get Kane.
They will find the cash. Maybe we will sign players before Kane goes so other clubs do not inflate prices?!.
Lose-lose position for Spurs whatever happens really.
Keep an unhappy player that desperately wants away and hates the club and it's owners. Or sell and waste the money on bad signings at inflated prices, and miss the guaranteed 15 goals a season Kane scores against the bottom six.

Sorry for this mess, it should read:
Get him out. He wants out. Lets get players that want to play for the badge and not just continually disrespect the club and fans like Kane has.
120m and Laporte would do for me.
Given that this is all paper talk so may be BS as far as anybody on 606 knows, reportedly City have said that £120m is too much, so what on earth makes you think they will pay that and throw in a £50m + defender as well?
Can't find a single City fan that wants him, seems Spurs fans also turning against him so he may have fouled his own nest, as footballers do from time to time.
If £ity really want Kane, they will pay our asking price, if they don`t, then they can`t really want him all that much.
Kane has had the agenda driven media in his ear for years telling him that he needs to be winning medals, playing in the CL etc, so no wonder he wants to go to £ity.
If Kane leaves this summer, he will leave Spurs having stained his standing with the club and fans, the only way that is repaired, is if he stays and continues to bang the goals in.
My gut feeling is he will be sold, and probably at a knock down price of around £130m, Kane will tell the club his mind is made up and Nuno will not want a player with his head turned elsewhere.
If somehow he stays, after the window is closed I would expect Kane to accept it and knuckle down, he won`t be sulking for long.
I hope Levy remains hardball though, with no compromises, player power and money clubs tapping up players needs to be stood up to and confronted. And Spurs will be worse off if he leaves, no matter how much money is paid.
I cannot see Levy backing down one jot. I just hope he and Paratici set City a deadline to conclude the deal way before the window shuts or we move on with Kane.
IF Kane has told Levy he wanted to leave a year ago or at the end of last season then Levy, with Paratici should have plans in place for who they want to target(Martinez and Vlahovic(hopefully, fingers crossed).
Everyone else notice Nuno having more respect for other teams players than Pep?
He was asked about Martinez and responded with he would only talk about tottenham players, no one else
At least he had a touch of class about him
Unlike Pep who had to tell the world how much city want him but we won’t negotiate
I doubt Nuno will have any say in what happens with Kane

Not sure it matters what City fans want, Pep has said they want him.
As for value, no one has actually officially mentioned value, and even the reported £100m offer is unsubstantiated as far as I am aware.
The point is though if you are prepared to pay £100m for Grealish then you have made a rod for your own back if you then expect to get the England captain, multiple golden boot winner, top assist maker of last season and one of the very few world class strikers around for the same fee.

Out of courtesy more than anything. It's abit of liberty to be talking about other players who are not at your club especially if it involves a transfer. It's not very professional.
Doesn't bother me too much but I just hope Levy raises the price of Kane to another £5m to teach Pep a lesson not to talk about Spurs players going forward.

Continually disrespect? That's a bit harsh. He's been a great servant for the club. And no one actually knows the true story over the last week.
I don't blame him for wanting to leave (if he does, I've still never heard him say it) but I hope he stays. What fan wouldn't? We just need to get over ourselves sometimes.
