The problem is he will have a good game and around the corner is a shocker, he is too inconsistent which is no good. I also shiete myself when he has the ball and is being pressured by the opposition, his distribution is also poor and he is poor in the air. His best attribute is pace, which he needs because he regularly gets caught out of position.
He has not improved since he has been here, we need better, he is similar to Aurier, in that there is always a monumental fack up around the corner.
I don't have a problem keeping Sanchez - I think Nuno might be a good manager for him, positive motivator with a focus on the fundamentals. I'd feel better about him being our third CB than our 2nd though.
Dier should be the one to go I just don't think there are any offers out there for him. I suspect he trains really well which is why we keeps getting chances.

The problem with Sanchez and Dier is they look like great defenders until the inevitable mistake or two which comes every game.
If Dier removed these mistakes he would be a top CB, he’s strong in the air and tackling and dominates CFs.
It does look like Dier has worked his Portuguese tongue up Nuno's arris.
Criminal Dier is the starting 11 let alone the squad.

Sanchez had a very good game against Arsenal, and has just come off the back of a very decent South American Cup.
I would say he will definitely be in NUno`s plans. He is still very young, only just turned 25. Spurs would be extremely stupid to let him go.

Depends what formation you go with. I have always thought the current Spurs squad lends itself to 3 at the back, and Nuno has certainly had better results playing that way than when he switched to a 4 last season. Romero is a top signing and if you had Sanchez and Rodon alongside him then on paper, that looks an ok base for you to build from.

So far in pre season Nuno has gone with a 4 3 3. Hope he sticks with it. If we can get Tomiyasu over the line then I really hope we sign another midfielder to play alongside PEH. Some who is built for the prem and can tackle with an eye for a pass. We cannot go into the new season with Skipp and PEH in midfield as this will only put more pressure on the defence.
