Kane and Son would score more than 30 goals between them if he stayed
They got 40 together last season and we were awful

Kane or no Kane, its all a bit meh. ENIC won't spend if Kane stays and won't spend wisely if he is sold.
I'd love to know where we are getting 2 strikers from and how we are replacing Bale and Kane's goals and assists.
It is also going to be facking galling watching Kane score goals for that doped club and his interviews afterwards with a big grin on his face.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Relax Billy, my money is still on Kane staying, unless a club stumps up the £160 million plus Levy will want.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As you well know, Billy, Sandy is always right!!
ANyone....what are that trio......Levy, Paratici, Nuno

Its mid August already!
Romero injured already!
Are they sorting the back four problem or is Romero it?
And whats on with Kane....staying or going?

We still have to pay the money next year so what difference does it make. If you buy a car on hire purchase does that mean you havent got to make payments??
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It had to be a loan I believe as Atalanta first had to complete the purchase from Juve and then they are not permitted to sell him straight on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It had to be a loan as Italian regulations do not allow a player to be transferred twice in a season👍

apologists will tell you it’s all alright and the club aren’t a total shambles because we’ll spend the Kane money on a load of last minute panic buys
---
That's one way of looking at it. Of course we can all sit here and moan but the reality is we've signed a top class centre back, a very promising backup to Hugo, and an exciting young winger. Are you really so mad because we haven't signed a RB?
Bemoaning our transfer business on the strength of the Kane deal isn't helpful. While we maybe should set out a clear price and timeline these things are sensitive. And complex. What kind of striker(s) we need to sign depend on the outcome. And in the meantime we still have Kane
Outgoings are the main concern for me right now - we need to shift the likes of Aurier and Sissoko but the kind of teams that might be interested (Ligue1 mid table) don't have any money.
On balance it's reasonable to be frustrated but there's no point driving the bus off the cliff until the window is shut.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m mad because our defence on Saturday is gonna include Doherty/Aurier, Sanchez and Dier. I’m not bothered about the rest of the team because we have decent options and if Kane goes I’m sure we’ll get some good replacements with the money.
But we’ve had plenty of time to sort that defence out and yet we’re gonna see the same clowns making the same stupid mistakes at key times in the game. Sweepstake on how early/late/close to HT we concede? Will it be Aurier or Sanchez that gifts them a pen after we’ve had a decent spell of play? Has everyone forgotten the way these clowns work or something?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, it's a fair complaint. I'm not happy seeing Dier and potentially Doherty in a back 4. They're not good enough.
Though it's also fair to say that the situation isn't normal. Many clubs just don't have the money to move players on even for cheap like we did with Toby. Sure we could keep signing players anyway but that's just silly.
And yeah we'll probably lose to City. We could go out and sign two more 50m defenders and still have spent a fraction of what they have on their back line. That game don't define our season. Buying the right players will. That takes patience sometimes. I'd rather we did that than went out and spent headline figures on fan favourites.
Reading the OP you'd think it would be better if we paid 70m up front for Romero somehow. That's not ambition, that's stupidity.

Martinez would be great if we were keeping Kane or signing Abraham. Just my opinion, but he's not going to lead the line in the PL.

Martinez would be great if we were keeping Kane or signing Abraham. Just my opinion, but he's not going to lead the line in the PL.
If Isak hadn't signed a new contract I bet we'd be all over him
