Mason’s brilliant performance went unnoticed, because he is not Rashy, the darling of the British media, the most overrated, overhyped, and selfish young player to have disgraced the pitch of Old Traford.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What the hell! Jealousy is a strong force, isn't it?
Rashford has been a key player for us and has been doing well. He's played the last 1.5 seasons injured and put his b9dybon the line to try and get United back in the CL and to winning trophies. All that whike taking responsibility because the likes of Martial and Porgba were not carrying their own weight. He's still a United player, an academy graduate who deserves our support through his off form period. Even though he has been "off form" he has still delivered some valuable goals and assists.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The guy is a complete and utter fūckwit (Rooney-the-GOAT, not Rashford)
I often wonder whether 'fans' like that have the nerve to celebrate when the players they give so much abuse to score. I hope not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He isn’t a United fan.
I'm chuffed that we have got both?
Greenwood is already a very good player and may go on to be a great one.
Rashford has been wonderful for us, we all know that he has played through injury and fatigue. The reason being Ole felt he needed him on the pitch, but hopefully he will come back like the Rashy of old;
It is beyond me how a United fan can say he has disgraced the pitch at Old Trafford when he has turned in very good figures even though not at his best.
I don't know how you can call yourself a fan with that attitude.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Playing with injury is selfishness, in his case, not courage. We play much better without him. A squad player, no more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He averaged a goal involvement every 115 minutes last season, despite his injuries. What do you think is an acceptable return of you don't think that is good enough?
If I was a rival manager and could have greenwood or rashford I'd take mason in a heartbeat. Has a higher ceiling and a far rarer gift than rashford imo. Just looks far more refined and instinctive already and he still has lots to learn.

Agree with this. That doesn't mean that Rashford isn't a good palyer though.
Greenwood is strikingly similar to Daniel Sturridge. He was lightning quick, deadly in front of goal and is left footed too. 10 years ago he and Welbeck were the exciting prospects and Harry Kane wasn't on anyones radar as a top quality player.
You can't predict how things will go for young players and just because Mason has the incredible potential he does, doesn't mean disregarding the contributions of Rashford - a player who just like Greenwood burst onto the scene and showed a tremendous amount of potential.
Rashford has developed into a very, very good inside left and is a nightmare to defend against. He's worked to become a very well rounded forward and has the attitude to keep getting better and better.
At this point in time Rashford is certainly a better and more complete player than Greenwood. That's not to say that Mason's mental of brilliance are any less than magnificent when they happen. His finish the other day was sublime.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Rashford is a player we can rely on and when fit is one of the best players in the league. Greenwood will shine this year and play lots of football but he doesn't need to have the same expectations slumped on him that we have for Rashford just yet.
We have a superstar imo and for me he will be in the top 3 strikers in world football in the next 3-5 yrs if he carries on the way he is going.
