Both Auba and Lacca
Auba would do well in Spain but he isn't really a Barca type of player, especially with the style of football they play.
Out of the two I would give them Aubameyany, he's on more money and a longer contract. We can keep Laccazette for another year then he goes on a free transfer, he's been more affective than Aubameyang for a while now anyway.
Rumour came from a tier 5 source wouldnt read much into it.
They won't save you.
Arsenal are done as a force to be reckoned with.
Get used to it as barring a miracle diddly is going to get you back to where you believe you belong.

Coutinho could be ok for a year , but I fear we’ll end up with another ageing player on huge wages we can’t shift which again stops us strengthening the squad. We need to be extremely cautious with these types of deals now m, we’ve fecked ourselves over and over with these signings, or giving older players expensive contracts
Aren't Barca meant to be desperately trying to save money? Because Auba/Coutinho doesn't really do that for them with on big money and Auba so old. Not unless they've got some young gun on the brink who just needs an Auba to guide him for a season.
I don't know anything about the Barca squad but without that young gun to step up a year from now, the Auba swap makes no real "save money" sense as they would only have to splurge big money next season to buy an Auba replacement. Is offsetting spending for one season like that good enough for Barca's money saving needs?

I just find hilarious how people are so happy that there is speculation to sell Auba/Laca when you see what happened against Brentford without them.
We need to take the next steps sequentially. And at the moment the problem is not the players. Its coaching and team organisation. A newly promoted Brentford just outplayed us.

True. I appreciate that our final position was 8th but that was 6 points off 4th with some silly losses. This team is definitely capable of better but needs better guidance / management. Arteta is not the one. Neither is Edu as TD. I'm fully expecting 0/9 after 3 games and if he's still manager, that's our season done.

I can see that argument but the flipside is to let Laca go because it stops him leaving on a free at the end of the season and having Coutinho in the midfield mix ultimately means that Auba won't have to / be expected to play on the left.

Its an easy out for a manager to blame the players. But this is not Arteta's first season. And he has bought a lot of players but we look as disorganised as we did last season. Gary Neville has always defended Arteta because its a mirror image to his own circumstances as a manager. But no amounts of empathy can cover how shambolic the team looks.
For example Carragher should have followed up by asking Gary why Ben White was considered one of the best CBs in England but unable to clear a bouncing ball from a throw in? Did Arteta not do any homework on how Brentford play and practise positional defending?
I don't buy 'its all the players fault anymore'. It is obvious that Arsenal players are individually better than Brentford players. We weren't playing Man City. But collectively they looked relegation fodder. I am sorry thats all down to poor management.
