Deals are trying to be struck as we speak. If clubs aren't willing to sell they're main men and players would rather play for teams in the Champions League I can't see how the deal can get done. If there's no replacement out there Kane will have to stick around for a bit. That won't be easy, he's already disrespected his team mates by saying he wants to be the best he can be, name dropping oppo players etc. That doesn't sit well with the fans or his team mates.

I'm glad Levy's playing it the way he is. I still feel City will give it a go and offer a reasonable fee. A deal will all depend if a suitable replacement is still in the market.

Who said anything about strikers? You pay about 50 million for back up defenders. That's inflating the market. You paid, or will pay 100 million for Grealish, that is inflating the market.

We've been linked with loads of strikers and it's always been to "play alongside Kane"

If the very narrow front three we saw against city is a regular feature of our play than it'd be pretty easy to imagine another striker starting in one of those 'wide' positions

Difficult to answer the last one. He signed an extension last summer but it wasn't announced. I'd guess until 2023?

We take a really long time over renewing contracts, because we got burned by being lumbered with a load of deadwood for 5 years starting about 5 years ago. Since then, the club have been much more careful about contract lengths for older players.

Also as I said before, the last extension wasn't announced, and its possible this new contract is done, and they just haven't signed/announced it yet.

Kane will be sold for close to 150m in the end and Levy will try and get Morelos on the cheap.

As I said, he is signing. Thats what everyone ITK on Leeds says. They are confident it will be done so see no need to rush it.

Also he did play against Man United.

I would be asking for 50m.
