I don't think even being the colour of a proper football shirt would have saved this one

Can't say I am a fan of it, but it is better than the fruit salad 3rd kit, I would be quite happy with the black second kit and the old red/black AC Milan type shirt that we won the 69 cup final in as the 3rd strip. No more fruit salad please.

I reckon they either forgot to design third kits, so had to bang them all out in an afternoon when the factory rang up asking for the designs, or the MDs nephew, who's got a computer and is getting into graphic design was allowed to do them.

Being cynical I think it was first and foremost a marketing campaign for puma.
