'People can suffer reputation damage and loss of income due to social media 'pile-ons' thus we need to be careful 'naming and shaming' in case of getting it wrong'
This is true to an extent - but his role was taken directly from his profile, and his tweet was his own words.

The vidoecelts article described him as a former employer.
It may have always said 'ex' Rangers retail.
And 'pile ons' are a bit of a pet hate of mine - as well as the tweets like that tamsellicson whelp which NNH posted.
If you want to find idiots tweets - it's like shooting fish in a barrel, it's lazy, easy and used as the basest form of point scoring.
Like I said there were way worse 'takes' than this guys yesterday.
On a much more positive note, there was considerably more condemnation (by a sizeable margin) of the video from fellow Rangers fans.
Nobody was in a rush to post that positive side of the unfortunate event on here though.
And that tells it's own story...

Well that's not really helpful is it?
I think we are all having to adjust our mindsets in to what is and what is not acceptable.
That doesn't mean we are all terrible racist, bigoted haters.
It just means that our attitudes and actions have to evolve slightly.
Compared with the 60s and 70s we are a lot better and things will continue in that manner.
Everyone makes mistakes, people (especially young people) sometimes need to learn from the error of their ways.
The problem is that the mistakes these days can 'live' on the internet forever.
Lets see if some sort of punishment/guidance can end up having a net positive on these boys lives.

You have posters regularly talking about bumming kids and you all have a wee laugh and stranglevvank about it!

Well that's not really helpful is it?
I think we are all having to adjust our mindsets in to what is and what is not acceptable.
That doesn't mean we are all terrible racist, bigoted haters.
It just means that our attitudes and actions have to evolve slightly.
Compared with the 60s and 70s we are a lot better and things will continue in that manner.
Everyone makes mistakes, people (especially young people) sometimes need to learn from the error of their ways.
The problem is that the mistakes these days can 'live' on the internet forever.
Lets see if some sort of punishment/guidance can end up having a net positive on these boys lives.
