Notso, I also agree with you in regards to more pressing matters which need addressing.

I just think our squad is in a place where we absolutely need to be buying what we need, otherwise we’re gonna be so unbalanced.

I don’t massively oppose it, but if we pay £40m for him and don’t get a CM or striker we’ll all be fuming.

And everyone keeps excusing his lack of end product. But we need end product! And we shouldn’t pay £40m for a player who isn’t consistently able to play a final ball

Aaron Lennon on steroids.

I’d love him at the club

Need defenders, midfielders and goals, dont think he provides either of our needs

He was playing the correct ball on numerous occasions yesterday. We didn't know how to cope. Also impressed with the way he was moving the ball through midfield, quick passing, spraying balls out wide, getting attacks moving quickly. He wouldn't be relied upon to get goals, you need at least 2 men on him. It just seems obvious that he's better than what we've already got.

He’d be better off in the NFL as a running back.

He's such a weird player. When he's on it, there literally isn't a defender alive who can handle him. He wins games on his own, just not a reliable 7 or 8/10 player every week

I love adama but this makes no sense to me.

100% yes for me if we are keeping Kane. If Kane is going and Traore is his replacement, then Levy has a lot to answer for. But, as an attacker to compliment Kane and Son? 100%. He terrifies defenders and brings so much space for the others. Imagine the amount of opportunities Son and Kane would get ? Sign him up

He’s terrifying to play against. If he was a decent finisher he’d be absolutely incredible.

I do think he’d work well with us - Son would have the pace to keep up when he’s tearing up the pitch. And if we still have Kane, he’ll bury a lot more of the opportunities Traore would create than Wolves attackers do.

90% of Adama's game is world class, strength, power, pace, great control, wonderful touch and ability to run with the ball. Unfortunately and incredulously his final product, be it providing assists or goals, is League 1 standard. Such a frustrating player to have in your team. If he stays and improves his output with us, fine, if he moves and we're able to buy someone that can give us 10 goals and 5 assists this season it will be great business. Dont really care either way to be honest.

Should have gone for Demarai Gray, better signing

He's about to turn 26. I'm not sure how much longer we can wait for his end product to come before we accept that it isn't going to

In 4 and a half months time. Right now he is 25. Next January he is 26. Lets not go all goonery on his age bro

Great input as always David

He is all power and pace with no end product, some might say a headless chicken. Essentially he is a 100m sprinter who plays football, he is lightening quick and scares the life out of defenders, but his end product is woeful.

He would be a good squad option at around £20m or a loan, but I wouldnt want us spending more than that on him.

Unless he improves his stats he would be too much of a gamble at £40m, I like the idea of a loan with an option, it would give us a chance to see how he develops.

Such a frustrating player to have in your team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the crux of it.

is it too much to ask to have players who aren't frustrating and you can just expect consistent performances?! We have so many of them!

Bergy, frustrating, Dele, frustrating, Moura, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Aurier, Reggie, Dier, Sanchez...

All of these can be brilliant one game, awful the next. Or even half to half. Do we really need another player who will beat half the opposition team and then put it in to the stands?

I mean I'd say the same thing if he was 24 turning 25

People are scared of him running at them, just move out of the way and let him take shots. He's shocking.

posted on 23/8/21

Well why isn’t he working on his shooting in training... Son & Kane stay behind after training to work on finishing... so should he!!

posted on 23/8/21

Nuno knows the guy. So if we buy Traore it will be because Nuno thinks he can turn him into a finisher.
He gave Tanganga a real problem. Only reservation I have is about his character, about which I know nothing.
Is he easy to work with?
Is he a team player?
Does he take well to being managed and told what to do?
Those are the questions I would have about Traore.

Not really. We lost Lamela and Bale and brought in Gil. There is still an empty space to fill.

You think we need 5 to cover 2 positions?

Lamela and Lucas played as the 10 a lot last season. Without that as an option then some players are going to struggle for minutes.

And even last season players struggled for minutes - bale and Lamela both played under 1000 minutes in the league last season. Rather not waste a year of potential development for either Bergwijn or Gil by only giving them the same amount of football
