I thought everyone on here wants to trade Ndombele?
You want to keep him?
Given his current level of fitness he could do what you ask for about ten minutes!
looking at the formation, i fear that opponents might have a lot of joy down one of your flanks
It's not a horrible idea by any stretch. Though, to Don Draper's point, you need your wide players to track the opposing fullback.

Like City match this team would go compact without the ball allowing teams to play wide. Dele would then shadow the right back if they advanced whilst Reguilon would mark the right forward. Ndombele would then move centrally.
Prefer him deeper where he can break the press and progress the ball

Fair enough but that means sacrificing skipp or Hojbjerg..so far doing a good screening job for our shaky CBs. Unless you drop Dele?

Wait , son scored a great goal v chelsea? When?
Did the OP have a stroke?
It isn’t the worst idea, Utd do something similar with Pogba - but that is because he is such an asset in the final third. Issue is Ndombele’s skill set isn’t as devastating in the final third as it is ball progression - it would be like putting Kane as our deepest midfielder

Would like to see this. Decent balance with realistic targets but let's see.
Why would you move your second best player out of position to accommodate someone not nearly as good, when he doesn’t even want to play for you?
Ndombele is done at Spurs. not sure why any supporter thinks he has a way back. Third season at the club, and cannot even be bothered to get himself fit.
Left to me, I would just cancel his contract.

Tanguy has his fair share of Ndombelievers.
NDombele should be sold…. Simple as….. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck…… It’s a duck. The guy is our record signing, on 200K a week and has been an unmitigated disaster…. Get rid and move on….. It hasn’t worked… simple as…..wishing him to do something he doesn’t have the mental strength to do is just pointless….. The guy is mental midget

That’s their prerogative. But even if you’re desperate for him to play, on the left instead of Son is a bit daft, as he’s one of, if not the best, counter attacking players in the league.
There is article saying he was peedd off with mason when he didnt play in the fina thats where it started with him apparently

This is too knee jerk, even for you. Fact is..IF he doesn't get sold or loaned by deadline. He must be made to play for Spurs and solution will need to be found.
