Figure he'll start a prem game sooner or later and on paper this would be one of the easier games to chuck him into
Blackpole I was pretty 50/50 between those two and Dier/Sanchez but decided to go with the two that didn't start on Thursday.
id prefer Bergwijn, hes getting a bit of confidence now and we never know what Lucas is going to show up, hes usually better in the bigger games
id ideally like to start a more offensive midfielder instead of Hojbjerg but not sure thats an option right now
What's going on with Ndombele? Is he refusing to train or not training to Nuno's desired level?
Seems a bit ridiculous now. He didn't even have the Euros. Should be ahead of most fitness wise, not behind.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's asked to leave and Nuno doesn't want to involve players who are not fully committed to us (harry Kane aside, an exception is obviously made when you're one of the best players in the world)
There have been no reports about refusing to train or not training well or having a bad attitude.

Bit silly from Nuno if that's the case. He's not Kane importance, but he's by far our most talented and creative midfielder.
Hopefully he stays and comes in when the window closes.

Apart from when the manager told the press that it isn't his job to convince players to want to play from Tottenham and that whatever it is has to come from himself which he reiterated numerous times. I think that tells us all we need to know about what's happening behind the scenes with Tanguy. It's not to difficult to read between the lines.

You mentioned it didn't mean he wasn't training well.
“I have to say that Tanguy had enough time to come to a different level. I know that the Premier League is very difficult and some players, it takes time,” he said.
“Some players, it takes a long time to adapt to a different league but a player with this potential and responsibility has to give us more than he is giving us.”
That was from the manager a few weeks ago. He's had enough time.
Fat lad was obviously fcucking about before he asked for the easy out. I can't believe the amount of money we've thrown at him.
I'm not sure Rodon stays. He was named in the Wales squad the other day. I reckon he could be sold

It couldn't be any clearer though mate. Tanguy has not a played a minute for us this season and Nuno has stated he needs more from him. What else can he be talking about?
"He's asked to leave and Nuno doesn't want to involve players who are not fully committed to us"
That is why he is not playing.

I would like to see Winks start vs Watford in place of Skipp.
Nothing against Skipp but we need to dominate the ball better, especially at home and 2 DMs is overkill IMO.

Seems a bit ridiculous now. He didn't even have the Euros. Should be ahead of most fitness wise, not behind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There have been no reports about refusing to train or not training well or having a bad attitude.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apart from when the manager told the press that it isn't his job to convince players to want to play from Tottenham and that whatever it is has to come from himself which he reiterated numerous times. I think that tells us all we need to know about what's happening behind the scenes with Tanguy. It's not to difficult to read between the lines.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That doesn't at all suggest that he's got an attitude problem - just that he's asked to leave the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mentioned it didn't mean he wasn't training well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He asked to leave at the start of pre season. And even if Nuno isn't Impressed with his performances that doesn't mean he's not putting the effort in for training, which is what I meant when I said that there's nothing to say he's not training well
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It couldn't be any clearer though mate. Tanguy has not a played a minute for us this season and Nuno has stated he needs more from him. What else can he be talking about?

"He's asked to leave and Nuno doesn't want to involve players who are not fully committed to us"
That is why he is not playing.

What's going on with Ndombele? Is he refusing to train or not training to Nuno's desired level?
Seems a bit ridiculous now. He didn't even have the Euros. Should be ahead of most fitness wise, not behind.

I don't think he has a bad attitude at all, just think he's struggling mentally to fit in over here - the Amazon doc showed that. Throw in another new manager, his fall down to earth and his two best mates in the country being sold and I'd be surprised if he plays for us again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Those are all feeble excuses when the guy has had such a massive investment put into him by the club. £10m a year...home sick?....poor little lamb, Suck it up buttercup!

I'm not sure Rodon stays. He was named in the Wales squad the other day. I reckon he could be sold
----------------------------------------------------------------------
apparently injured, almost as much as a waste of time and opportunity as ndombele if we did sell him already

I would like to see Winks start vs Watford in place of Skipp.
Nothing against Skipp but we need to dominate the ball better, especially at home and 2 DMs is overkill IMO.

Only issue with that is the idea that Winks dominates the ball

Yeah but he got called up? I agree, I wouldn't want him sold
