Arteta, do the honourable thing if you don't get fired, you should resign!
The board have an unreasonable amount of faith in artetas ability. From tactical point of view we are the easiest team to play against in the league now.
The board only have faith in Arteta because they know nothing about football, and are clueless what to do next if they have to sack him.

Even if Conte knocked on their door they would still look past him to appoint the next donkey.
I hope our more mature fans aren’t tempted to start calling for Arteta’s head when Spurs go top of the table tomorrow.

What's immature about calling for his head? This isn't a knee jerk or even a bad few games - this is a year and a half in the making. Our decline is linear for all to see.

Looks like the Arsenal management believe in fantasy that all will be well when it all falls into place.
Yeah I imagine at best we could be floating as high as 6th or 7th.
Management still believes Arteta is a great manager. You know what maybe one day, Arteta won't be a disaster of a manager, but that will once he takes on some lower league jobs.
As for Arsenal, we will wait longer for the disaster to unfold and if anything the upper management have shown how inept at decision making they truly are.
With directors like ours and their footballing experience, doesn't look like things will get better any time soon.
There are only 3 directors and 1 lawyer. One is a figure head and the other 2 father and son. Basically this all on Josh Kroenke. Billionaire children are never that bright.
Arteta probably just talks well and puts on an impressive presentation in a board meeting, that’s probably all it takes to convince the board he’s the right man. I can’t see how anyone with eyes could see what’s happening on the pitch and believe Arteta should lead us forward. If we were playing well with a good structure but maybe losing games due to fine margins, or an individual error you could understand it, and see we’re not far from making good progress. But there is absolutely none of that, and there hasn’t ever been apart from that FA cup run, and a couple games at the end of the season when we had nothing to play for .
I’m sure if you spoke to Arteta he talks a good game, knows a lot about football and has decent ideas. But I think he just lacks ability to translate that to players in any practical sense. Just because you’re very intelligent at something doesn’t mean you’re a good and effective teacher. It’s probably why it worked well at city for him, he had good ideas but it took pep to actually put them into an effective plan. Maybe Arteta will one day learn this, but we can’t wait for it to click for him.
The board needs to pull its head out the sand and recognise they have to get some people in who know how to run a club before it’s too late.

Couldn’t agree more
Arteta should never have been employed in the first place. A complete lack of ambition by the board which has backfired badly
We’ll probably fluke a win a against Norwich which will will convince the club to let Arteta lose another 10 before they begin to question his job. Any other club would have realised long ago their punt on a potentially good manager hasn’t worked out and would correct it before it got any worse. Really shows the board and owners don’t know how to run a successful club
We are the laughing stock of Premier League hands down. I was wearing my new away kit and one bloke came to hug me and ask what happened to the Arsenal.
I am very embarrassed to wear the Arsenal shirt these days

They will probably sack him in December by then it’s too late.
I agree with those who say Mikel Arteta needs more time. More time away from Arsenal Football Club.
Yeah Probably. Then go with the easy option and replace him with the then sacked vieira, the board will probably think we’d like that because he’s a club legend.

Arteta needs time to build his own team. There’s a lot of talent in the squad.
I think its pretty clear how Arteta got the job. Josh Kroenke was part of the recruitment process with Raul and Gazidis. Arteta was probably his choice from the very start but Gazidis et al persuaded him to take Emery. With Gazidis gone and Raul on the way out Kroenke fired Emery on the first sign of trouble to install his man.
Its now for Kroenke to admit he was wrong. Posters have trouble doing that on this forum. Frankly Josh Kroenke should have cut him loose in the summer, any business man would have.
I mean if you go about saying it’s going to be the biggest change in decades and implying loads of players will leave, basically publicly lambasting the players (who totally deserve it) and leaving them thinking they are out of the job….. only for no players to leave and loads more to in yea no wonder the players are not playing for him.
What a ****s up! Xhaka was joking Roma!! He was practically gone then we give him an extension!?!!!!? William and Bellerin are still here, kola is still here! Both Lacca and Auba are here, Nketia* is here, El Nenny is starting in our midfield!!
How can you spend 130,000,000 in one summer and your starting MF is Xhaka and El Nenyπ or your defence is Soares, Kola, chambers and holding???
The squad is a now a total mess! Half the players who were to be a part of the massive change prob despise Arteta and want him out and the other half must be confused as to why he only plays the players he said he wants out

Maybe he is instructed by board to play the deadwoods so that they fetch back money it’s backfired though and probably made both out young players and fans mad.
