Its great for Josh and I wish him well. It's just not great for the team.

I don't think he would have been involved tomorrow. Going to miss him against Burton. Lee or thomason as his replacement.

It's all very quiet hush hush on the transfer front, not even a tap drip never mind a leak.
Has anybody mentioned the IE surprise of a lot more ins and out than folk are expecting ? That bloke who draws up the lists of names has been keeping his head down hasn't he.

I hope that he's found three gems. A fabulous striker who will knock in ten goals before Christmas and decide to stay until the end of the season and knock another ten in. A great winger who can also knock a fair amount of goals in and provide many assists and a right-back who nobody can get past, also he can beat his man, get down the wings through the centre and create lots of chances for the forwards as well as knocking in a few himself.

Am I being over-optimistic? As Pasty would say, answers on a postcard.

We wish Luke Hutchinson well and hope he's back playing for Colls soon.

Evatt has one target that he would like to sign but as always it's a wait and see situation.

He also gave no credence to the idea that we needed another striker.

I'm not the manager but I would feel happier if the target he is looking to sign is a striker. we will just have to wait and see if it is.

Crawford seems destined to leave for bonny Scotland and St. Johnstone whilst there is as yet no takers for Comley. Let's hope that they both get fixed up with transfers which will give Evatt scope to bring in two players.

Been generally up to date on the Beano blog. Nothing really much to go with other than a link to other league 1 transfers, general polling of fans to which player of the past would you have return, a couple of fan suggestions shot down pretty rapid.

Think the meat and tater of the decent stuff may be from the next few hours.

One bit of news from that blog though includes the fact the deadline for the payment of secured creditors is also today so hopefully some good news from the club before more signings.

Well... Having looked into the link in Jackson, I am not sure it is 'live'.

May wel have been some interest in bringing him back to Bolton - but judging by the reaction I have had from the folk in the past 20 mins or so, I don't think he will be back today.
