Top end stuff, perhaps.
Everything else..I’ll wear what the fack I want. Usually decent jeans and a designer t shirt
Suit / shirt and tie for work, if not in a client facing roll is just pointless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Designer t shirt
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Better than your spider man shell suitWhen I say designer, I usually try and get things not many others will have.
On another note skinny jeans. Any bloke who’s not gay, should also be executed for wearing them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This stuff stitches me up. Decent jeans like worried tgat someone spits they’re M&S and not Levi’s? In reality no cant gives a fck. Same with weans that have 40 pairs of trainers for every occasion but only one other pair of shoes - wtf? Only another diik like them cares what fookin trainers they have on.

Went to buy a semi decent watch. The nearest deals of the brand I liked was a ‘watchmaker’ who was the service agent for a raft of big names. A wee place up a stair off a high street. It was the old boy that saw me and I couldn’t just buy the watch I wanted. I was there for about 2 hours as he took me through all the makes and told me what was good and what not.
Guy had a real passion, few retail customers and just wanted to pass on his lifelong knowledge gleaned from servicing and fixing watches. I can’t remember all the detail but he got tore into one brand of ‘submariner’ watches that were the size of lozenge tins with a strap - can’t remember the brand but basically they were sold to diiks that just wanted the biggest watch on their wrist and pretend to be James Bond.
He was a Rolex fan and told me they were the last manufacturer that made their own movements? He went through them all telling me who used whose movements - seemed to be mostly seiko movements?
He was probably hugely disappointed with what I bought but never showed it. A real character.
I should add it took me >10yrs of browsing to choose a decent watch I wanted! Before that, Argos always had a £5 watch stand and I’d buy one, wear it until it broke or the battery ran out which was always 1-3 years and just Chuck it and buy another.

Cough mega futura - no movement ! Has been 100% reliable though and, of course, always atomically accurate. Had it 15 years.
