I still haven't really seen much of him. The times I have seen him he hasn't exactly caught the eye. He's not really been able to get into games when he's been given the chance. Hopefully this year he'll get more experience and confidence, especially in Europe, then we'll see more what he's about. He seems to be impressing everybody at the club.

Kylian Mbappe Mk II

I noticed he does have some good movement.
Trys to play on the shoulder of defenders.

Mbappe 100%. Look at the goal in our friendly in pre season. Not sure he will ever emulate Mbappe, but he certainly has the similar style

Ings or Vardy

Basing that solely on his first team appearances, maybe he shows other qualities at youth level

A mix of Jesus (who I rate) and as Don says Mbappe but not sure if he has all the tricks of Mbappe. Physically Scarlett is taller than Jesus but he is still only 17 and should fill out.

We seem to have a crop of good youngesters coming through the ranks at the moment.

Really Markanday gets a start in the Ropey League soon too.

yeah I was more drawn to that type of striker comparison

I had Defo in my head if we're looking closer to home as currently he didn't really have much more to his game other than playing on the shoulder

Yeah that's a good shout, Torres too.

Football talent scout has him being similar to Suarez, with people saying Ings and Vardy it’s a good shout.

I havent seen enough of him to judge properly.

What I have noticed in the few chances he's had is that his close control has not quite been good enough at this level, in and around the box where you get a split second on the ball.

Very early days for the lad though.

Anyone who hasnt seen Markandy's hattrick vs Leeds U23s should look it up. He also looks like a player.

I remember Kane’s early days, was always in great positions but couldn’t hit a barn door, how things changed!

I see a bit of Defoe about him myself.

Markanday looks like Defoe.

If Scarlett somehow manages to simultaneously look like Ings, Defoe, Vardy, Suarez, Gabriel Jesus and Mbappe, he sounds like a pretty well-rounded player

Far t oearly to judge him, he has barely featured. He may get a bit of time in the Conference coming on as a sub, but I don`t see him starting any game this season.
