It's been a very encouraging start to the season and the performances deserved more than the 3 points we have gained thus far. The side pretty much picks itself at the moment, so I see no reason to change the formation or the starting line up.
I would hope that home advantage and a raucous crowd cements another 3 points for us.

Brentford are certainly no pushover but with quality we have in the side now, a stronger bench and the home advantage, I think will be too much for them.
More than happy to use this as the match thread Gem, but does anyone know what's happened to Halfy?
He was a cheeky chappie, but I hope he's ok.
Feck BT Sport and their 12:30 kick offs .
Should be decent entertainment for the armchair viewer though, a franticly busy morning though for those of us trying to get to Molineux.
Sir Halfy is maybe tired of delivering the award winning match threads, all that cutting and pasting is bound to take it out of you eventually.

Not sure where you're starting out from Oldgold, I'll be leaving the house at about 6.30 am
Cheers adders On the ball today.
Awh listen to how tough it's gonna be for you guys due to the early start.
I will have to get up at feckin 4 am for a 4.30 am kick off this end ffs and probably spend an hour waiting for the channel I pay for to get their shat together before enjoying the second half
Ooff that's painful Wulfrun, Im only 15 miles from Molineux but my lad has footie training on Saturday mornings. Getting 14 year old out of bed is task enough for me, we'll hopefully make the 11:45 train if his coach lets him leave early!

Brentford play front foot attacking footy too, so this should be a pretty open game, and as we saw in our first 3 games, against sides that like to "play" we can create a good few chances, so....
wolves 3-1
thought I'd up my game from my standard "gents"
Yes should be a good game and they'll press us hard Im sure but I think we'll have the edge on quality. Raul to break his duck and 2-1 or 3-1 to us sounds feasible.
Adlene Guedioura, remember him? Joins Sheffield United on a one year deal. His shots either ripped the net or demolished the stands behind the goal.
I liked Guedioura too, brought a touch of class to midfield that was otherwise a bit clunky. Never felt he quite asserted himself enough in games, you feel he could have taken games by the scruff of the neck if he wanted but seemed like he was content to play a bit part most of the time. Thought he'd retired actually but good to see he's still kicking around.
That goal he got for Forest at Molineux was an absolute bullet. Must have taken some self control not to celebrate that one. Whole stadium applauded him which is rare. Everyone that comes back in an opposition shirt scores against us ( except Dave Edwards), but can't recall many getting the reception he and that goal got.
MGW has scored for Sheffield United again!!
Always felt with Guedioura that he would come into the team and make a real impact then once established became anonymous. So he’d then get dropped then we went through the same cycle over and over
Not a fan of these early starts and to make matters worse our group in the Steve Bull are going to be decimated on Saturday by a string of positive covid tests
One of my footie mates has had covid recently but is clear to attend on saturday. His timing around the international break was impeccable.
Was the same for me oldgold. Certainly couldn’t have attended any game last weekend but will be ok for Saturday. Sadly my pre game drink won’t be happening though as my usual drinking partners are now positive
Just reading that as well as having the highest number of successful dribbles of any team in the top leagues of Europe this season, the measure of decibels has shown Molineux to have been the noisiest ground in the Premier League so far this season. Just imagine if we’d been winning
