Northern Soul: Living For The Weekend is a really good look at a subculture. Not sure if it's in that one, but Keb Darge tells a story about going to a lockup in America where a guy's widow was seeking his record collection off, and she kept a shotgun on him while he dug around, and went to the toilet with him in case he was trying to steal anything.

Wanted to enjoy the Big Star doc more than I did. Guess the scarcity of footage was too big an issue for me.

Any race scene recommendations? There was a good series on Netflix called music or something like that
The one on Swedish producers is very good- you’d be absolutely amazed how many songs in the charts are written by unassuming Swedes.

The vaunted childish Gambino- co written by a Swede. Brittany spears, Backstreet Boys literally think of a huge but annoying song…a Swede will have produced or written it
