If the EFL give us 12 on top of the 12 they caused with their dithering, pettiness n shoddy policies then I fear them coontz played most foully for it n we paid most dearly for it.

They and Mel have run us into the ground, 12 points, admin, transfer embargo, fire sale and still they want more blood.

Shame.

Morning after view :
I cant believe that the players and the Management learnt about the situation via the media - and not Mel Morris. I just cant understand what's happened to the bloke. Quite frankly it's disgusting. Credit the players and the Management for turning in a good performance yesterday.
I dont know whether Stoke thought we would roll over following Friday's announcement but clearly we had other ideas. Yes, we made it more difficult for ourselves by dithering in defence to give Stoke their goal - but really we could / should have scored 3 / 4 goals yesterday.
To close, yes, Mel Morris has f'd up good and proper and the EFL in their infinite wisdom have chosen to kick us when we're down, but as someone on here said yesterday we all need to develop a siege mentality... a bit like what Wimbledon had in their crazy gang era. Let's go down fighting.....UTR

Not sure they'll be much sympathy, he's well and truly Candy crushed us. Not only has he taken his ball home but he's also stuck a knife right through it to totally fook it up.

At least I can go to work on Monday with my head held high as the majority of the workforce are Stoke fans. Little victories and all that.

I don’t hold any blame towards the EFL. I totally blame Mel Morris. People said GSE were bad because they sold the catering rights to the stadium. Doesn’t seem too bad now

Below are listed the sums for the debt owed by the club, will anybody bail us out this mess?

£26M Owed to HMRC
£5M to Cocu and staff
£6M to other clubs
£2.3M to Keogh
They will have to sell players before they come out of admin. Not sure if they can sack players.

MSD has a £34M first claim on the stadium. We will now see what people will pay for that!

Where is Andrew Neil when you want him?

Pitter patter stuff from Ed, I wonder if certain subjects were banned?

posted on 19/9/21

Has Ed asked him about the ownership of the stadium?

posted on 19/9/21

Pick the bones out of that.
No specific question about communication with the manager & his team ?

Am listening to the interview now on BBC Sounds as I was out of RD range at 1.00pm.

Ed Dawes is the wrong person to interview - way too emotionally involved.

Maybe, but didnt think it was a particularly probing interview.
Left many questions waiting to be answered.

From what I can gather it is all the fault of covid and Mel is a blameless saint.

If so, VC, it just was the final straw which broke the back of the already massively over-laden camel.

Yes Ang, he didn't ask him about all the poor signings and ridiculous wages. How much does Wally and his useless son get. It was a poor interview but Mel batted it away with " yes Ed, that is a brilliant question" type answers and used the trick of keeping talking so there weren't so many questions. Oily creature really.
