Reaction to our win at Ajax randomly came up on my youtube feed last night, Poch’s ‘thank you football’ interview put a lump in my throat. I miss enjoying being a spurs fan, really hoping for something positive to happen in the next two games.

A newly promoted side seldom scores a lot in the prem. Be interesting to know the stats of his teams before Wolves or maybe Wolves in Championship would be a better metric of how he performs when he has one of the best squads in the league

I hate how little I am interested in Spurs at the moment. Since the new stadium was built the only two hours of the day I don't enjoy are the football.
Tomorrow I'm very much looking forward to going to the new Beavertown boozer and watching the West Ham v United game.
But I am genuinely dreading what I will be watching from 4.30. I bet he doesn't even play Ndombele and there will be absolutely nothing to enjoy about the match.
Still find it ridiculous we didn't get Potter who was such an obvious choice to get us playing football again and begin the rebuild.

From the outside looking in it seemed we were not prepared to pay compo to Brighton or any other team for a manager. We were always linked with managers who were out of work. Classic Levy
Still amazed that Son signed a new contract with us. He has about 2/3 years left at his peak, during which time Spurs will offer him nothing in the way of success.

A striker we should go for that we won't, or at least we'd put in an insulting bid that would get refused, so Levy can at least pretend that he tried.
If paying Compensation for a manager stops you from getting the best man for the job then Levy deserves a team that finishes bottom half.

Both league cup wins (99 and '08) since 91 are better than anything Poch achieved if you talking about memories. Poch was fun but history will not remember him as fondly as many make out.

With everyone fit we'd like be set up similar to what we were against City. Maybe 3 CBs as that seems to be the best way to play against them.
Difference is we had a pacy front three available then, so they couldn't push up and relax. At best we'll have Kane strolling about, Lo Celso looking a bit lost out wide, and Gil shut down because they know he's the only threat on the break.
