Carlton Cole you can tell is really dumb. West Ham created chances? They had 1 chance until Man Utd played a 2-6-2 formation at the end.
We mullered them and if we could finish it would have been 4 or 5. Also why does the ref not give a stonewall penalty on Lingard?

You really are obtuse. Whether the manager decided to go all out attack and that resulted in their chances makes no difference to the FACT they had the best chances. You’re talking absolute nonsense here. Have a cake for understanding how they created their chances.

My point is that obviously they had the better chances towards the end of the game, because of how we were attacking. That is not a surprise. I'm not trying to say we created loads, or even very much to be honest. Just that saying 'they created more chances than us' doesn't really take in to account the reasons.
It's not a defence of our attacking play at all.
It's an incredibly shortsighted way of looking at things. Without context, we had nearly 30 shots, so you'd be forgiven for thinking we attacked well.
In context, we didn't and most of our 'chances' were crap.

Other than Greenwood’s chance when he came on, I don’t think we had a clear cut chance, that you’d expect to score.
West Ham had 5, they scored 1. Even without the end of the game they created the better chances.
