Morons everywhere, seen it all before the last time there was a petrol shortage - there were some idiots filling up carrier bags with the stuff. These are the same selfish cretins who would’ve been panic buying bog roll during covid. There is no shortage of fuel, there is a shortage of drivers. Fuel is way too essential to the infrastructure of the country for the govt - clowns that they may be - not to provide a solution no matter how expensive or temporary. They’ll have soldiers driving oil tankers if need be. Report on read on BBC said of over 8000 petrol stations in the UK only 1% has had to close due to shortages.

One saw a cabbie put £10 in, FFS, that's really going to get you a long way.
I didn’t pay any attention to the news surrounding it the past few days as I’m already well aware of delays (not shortages) of almost everything atm due to the driver situation. Even called at a co op garage this morning to pick up some bits for work and decided not to fill up even though I was almost in the red
Then throughout the day I saw the news and idiots on fb queuing for ages, blocking roads and even fights breaking out at the sainsburys garage over it
Now I’ve got the warning light on and wish I’d gone earlier while I was there. Will leave it until Sunday evening now and hope for the best.
As long as I've got enough litres in the tank to get meself up to Beachy Head Sunday evening I'm Kool and the Gang.
