The question hasn’t been answered though by the pro Brexit few
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They have no answers; they’re a f*cking cult and should be dismissed as one.

Interesting most Brexiters are anti vaxx loons too, science and facts are their enemy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
they did proclaim they were "sick of experts"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite.

Farage said “sick of experts”

Because he wears Union Jack shoes people started quoting him.

It appears everyone on here is a remainer . Well I voted for brexit as did almost everyone I know. I don’t live in the city and I am still working age as are most people I know. I hear you all talking about the crisis we are in but I do not recognise this. Yes the pandemic has created a healthcare crisis but other than that what is the problem. Admittedly everyone I know works and or is retired so I don’t know if any of them claim universal credit as they have never said but some of them are lorry drivers and are beginning to be paid the money they deserve now we cannot rely on cheap foreign labour. The same will have to happen to vegetable and fruit pickers because the firms and farms will now have to pay proper wages. Yes inflation will rise a bit but wages will increase more. As for shortages I ordered 65 items from Tesco Friday and they all turned up. I have half a tank of petrol and when I need to top up in the middle of the week I bet the crises will be over because the idiots that are panic buying will have run out of space for fuel and supplies are not short. Not one person I know that voted for Brexit regrets it or would vote differently now. You city people and remainers just don’t understand what working people want and that is one reason Labour will never be in power again.

Friday night in Ibiza that good?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure was. No food, fuel or medicine shortages here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hopefully we can tempt the hundreds of thousands of drivers with a HGV license to get on the road. Better wages should help with that. It'll be difficult to get drivers back from the EU as they've got similar shortages to us. The pandemic, ageing workforce taking retirement, no tests due to Covid have all played there part. It was known years ago that we were to dependent on foreign drivers. Covid has brought this all to a head.

The clubs still closed over there then Sizz?

So you want £37bn frittered away to Tory party friends for a track and trace system that doesn’t work?

Clubs not open, still some restrictions in place, but the bars, restaurants and beaches are fine.

They only have about ten recorded Covid cases on the whole Island, at the moment.

My bills are not sky rocketing and I have not, noticed the mass shortages you talk of. I do speak for most working people because I am one of them whereas you clearly are not or if you are cannot be doing a real job as you are on here all the time spouting the same leftist rubbish. I normally ignore it but today I just got fed up with it. You think you are right and everyone else is wrong so you insult them. Sadly the perfect keyboard warrior living in his own world.

Did I say that. No I didn’t. Sadly whoever is in power money will be wasted on their friends or people they know. If you think it would be different under a different government I think history tells us it wouldn’t.

Hang on, so you’re effectively saying that the Tories can do whatever they like and they will always have your vote.

So, tell us, what is it that you and the working people that you speak for want?

What bothers Brexiters the most is knowing that the people who were always cleverer than them at school, we’re ultimately right.

Looking back at the origin of this post any one who lived through the seventies will remember that most of the problems were created because the unions had too much power. Maggie sorted that out but now we have gone too far the other way and the bosses have too much power. Hopefully brexit and the loss of cheap labour will bring us back to a situation where the worker have more power and better wages. Things go in cycles and I think this is what is happening now. It will take time but in the long run workers will be better off.

Why do you have to try to insult and put people down all the time. Is it an inferiority complex.

Brexit clowns are the same as anti vaxxers etc, they were nobodies at school and through life so have this desire to be anarchist to have some relevance.

I want nothing. Apart from problems created by the pandemic I am contented with what is happening in the country apart form panic/scare stories made by the press. Things are not perfect but I believe we are heading in the right direction as per my previous comments in this post.
