This is the most disappointed I've been for quite a while. The penalty topped it off.

It's the manner of the defeat that hurts

Far too many salvage operations, sooner or later it will be difficult to salvage.

Yet another game where we were over ran in CM, over ran out wide and mis fired up top. We look stretched.

I was really looking forward to the Varane - Maguire axis. But I think playing a high line leaves us exposed because we lack quality in CM and quality generally on the ball. Too many lazy, short, side way passes.

Villa had 1 shot in the entire 2nd half inside our box and that was the goal all because we didn't mark a player from a set-piece.

Need a proven finisher….

Well Maguire had a free header, Pogba had a free header and Greenwood first half shoots instead of passing to Fernandes who was free for the cut back. Greenwood kept dragging shots wide in the 2nd half inside the box.

Of course Ole gets blamed today, as well as the players. But we are at Home. Insert your dominance. we don't keep the ball well at all.
Slow again at critical moments to make a decision.

Can't be all luck, law of averages suggests we should be converting especially if they are clear cut

My issue is we are not testing the keeper when hit the target or not hitting the target at all. It's either under hit or straight at the keeper or lacks accuracy

This suggests lack of practice in training or there is a bigger problem developing. Ole is starting to lose the dressing room.
