Who do you get them? If Conte doesn’t fit.
Ten Hag signed a new deal with Ajax this summer, Zizou could be a shout if he'd learn the language.
That’s not good enough.

City, Liverpool and Chelsea are all better than you, with that knowledge to hand what more could you expect from the current management? Maybe the odd trophy as its been a while since you won anything but anything else is unrealistic.

You are crazy for wanting Conte. Football would be worse than it is now, he doesn’t even like wingers, the team is not suited to him at all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is Arab we are talking about remember
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rip the club apart, bore his way to a trophy and leave us in a worse hole than we're in now
Starting all over again in a totally different direction... Is that not been our big problem since Fergie
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we can all realise that whatever happens to Ole, the squad will be iin a much better state than what previous managers left behind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but the squad is totally wrong for conte... So that point is irrelevant
He'd rip it apart and we'd have to start all over again (yet again) after he walks 2 years later

Giving a top heavy squad that has invested hundreds of millions in attacking midfielders and wingers, lacking centre backs and wing backs, to a manager that doesn’t like playing with too many attackers, especially attacking midfielders and wingers, and loves centre backs and wing backs, is exactly what I’d expect this club to do.

I can understand why. We’ve not been near winning the league since Fergie left. Even if we’d need some big changes I’m confident Conte would have us competing in a year or two. If the club are desperate to compete for the league they’d do this, even if doesn’t make much sense given the way we’ve gone about building the squad. But that’s a different matter.
I don’t care about us winning myself. I’m desperate to enjoy our style of football, so Conte does nothing for me. But I can understand why people are desperate for us to win the league, it’s been too long and it’s unacceptable that a club of our size and resources hasn’t done it for so long.
Conte is the definition of short termism. Would be far more damaging long term in terms of what he would need to get the squad playing to his style. Don't forget over the failures of successive managers we have accumulated a disparate, dysfunctional squad which Ole has done well to dismantle. Remanants still remain, so his squad overhaul is far from complete.

He appears a better coach than Ole. Playing style is better. They respect ball possession. The only reason Ole gets the respect he does is because of his legendary status as a former player. He would've been out if he was any other Norwegian coach, definitely wouldn't have got the job either.
Ole getting the job was a grand experiment of Ed. Winning a few games won him a period of grace. He's not a total dud but not one to elevate us to EPL winners or winners of anything!

Shugs, yeah I get that. But I don’t think it’s an especially bad thing that people want this. Plus going through another decade like this seems likely even without appointing Conte given how poor the decision making is by the owners. So you could essentially weigh it up as maybe winning a title and then more of the same. Or more of the same anyway.
A well run club would have us winning and competing regularly for titles whilst playing attractive football. But here we are. I’d rather us play attractive football and win nothing than play shiiiiit and win something. Most likely it’ll be play shiiiiit and win nothing, though.

We so play boring football and have done for most of Oles tenure, granted with the odd good game thrown in.
We have offered contracts to aging players like matic and Mata and bought in cavani and Ronaldo (don't even wanna mention the striker from Chinese league by name).

I’ll take the Villa coach now. Anyone with a clue on how to coach a team will be an upgrade on Ole.
We still can’t pass the ball out from the back after years of team coaching and drilling. We were again pinned back for nearly 15 mins in the second half. It’s a joke. It looks like any ol team can come to OT have their way.
