He has his own players, the fans are back, and he has had 3 summers to work stuff out.
I fear he may not see the end of the season.
I’ll need to rewatch, but I don’t think the first half was too bad, had the second went similarly I think we’d have scored at some point:
Second half was our worst half of football in some time; didn’t get going’s couldn’t keep the ball and our defence/ midfield simply couldn’t handle the pressure.
I don’t think it helped that we lost Shaw, Dalot wasn’t bad but AWB was abysmal yet again. Then we lost Maguire so only had one sun.

And what do you mean our excuse? It was a pretty tight game over 90 minutes today, and we didn’t win. It happens. Doesnt help that we were forced into two subs for injured defenders.

Tuchel is having a blip despite being on the same stats bar scoring to extra goals. 😂😂😂
I don’t mind Greenwood being selfish, he is the best at taking shots inside the box. It wasn’t happening for him today but shouldn’t discourage him from shooting.
McT was alright IMO. he was defensively solid for most of the match. Agree with the rest.
But how is it we don't control games, and teams are finding easy to break on us?
The CM, is the obvious point. He's too stubborn, relying and 2 squad players not it to be starting.
How do you not start Sancho.
Dalot needs games, as he has Villareal coming, and in a sad way he was lucky that shaw had to come off just so he could get the mins.
The Def should be fine missing Maguire, he's been poor.
How we conceded that late goal is pathetic though, lessons still not learnt.
None of this, 'disappointed, we move on'
The heat needs to be turned up now.
I want Ole to succeed but he's had enough time.
Stop the foolishness. or call it a day.
And thats not even a defence of ole in case plumpy gets sa woody. Just facts.
Leeds good three points but they set up perfectly for us.
Southampton Fortunate point
Wolves fortunate win
Newcastle great day with CR7 but we were wide open to the counter.
Young Boys outplayed and outrun with 11&10 men
West Ham B v our B could have won but lost
Villa disorganised especially second half, hard to fathom tactics loss no surprise
On to Villarreal lose that and it’s looking like the Europa which it seems Ole is comfortable in.
Am not going full Ole out just yet but I’m getting sick and tired of this two DM pívot to every team home or away, nothing at all learned from games like Sheffield United and West Brom at home last year just the same clueless slow paced poorly executed mess of miss placed passes and slow movement, waiting for some piece of individual skill to make the difference, players like Martial continually given chances and doing feck all like mid week.
It’s the hope that kills you and I thought with Sancho we had that right winger we have needed for years but of course Ole plays him on the left. Varane is just learning what it’s like to be totally exposed all game by Fred and CR7 today didn’t get a single ball into him, Greenwood put a shift in today but was selfish and wasn’t aware of player around him, we are just as others have said a bunch of individuals not a team but one or two big personalities who now overshadow Ole and I’m not sure he has experience or ability to handle it.
I hate to say it, but my faith in Solskjær being the right man is waning rapidly.
We just don’t play well very often. I know we’d had good league results before today, but have we really looked like a top side since the Leeds game? We very rarely do. There’s a reason why neutrals are backing City, Chelsea and Liverpool for the title and not us. We obviously need a DM but otherwise it’s a really good side now, with some genuine strength in depth. The players are better than the performances, so the buck stops with the manager.
I have a feeling he’ll get the season, even if the next few weeks are a bit rough - unless it really starts to look like he’s lost the players. But we’re now out of the Carabao and face an uphill battle in the Champions League. I never really thought we were going to win the title this season and fear that we’ll fall away through October.
We don’t control games or terrify opponents; there’s no cohesion, we’re too predictable and too easy to play against. He’s got to get us attacking and controlling games. If we do, we’ll win plenty as the goals are there.

Frustrating as hell watching us waste chance after chance. Under hit shoots or shots lacking accuracy.
We had shots, had the ball but most of the golden chances fell to Villa. The chance they converted was the hardest.
We give teams a chance, unless we convert then we risk losing more games by tight margins. Stating the obvious there.
That's 3 losses (in all comps) already! Analyse those defeats and the opposition should and could have scored more!

No shots on target. Only five over all.
It was a 5hitshow by United. Especially second half.
Was at the game so not seen any of the replays and what the TV punters said about it or the mamager's comments
1) Villa were up for this and United were not. Villa, like all teams raise their game at Old Trafford and could smell that we werent at the races. This is part of the character that you have to show to be a success at man United. Every game for Ubited is a cup final to most visiting players. Didnt see any of that character today.
2) We had no width so Ronny was feeding on scraps. But also worryingly Ronny didnt seem that bothererd to me. It makes me question more if getting him back was such a wise move afterall.
3) Also it seems that Shaw is usually one of our best attacking options and when he went off, that was that.
4) From the get-go Maguire didnt look fit and made some howlers in the first half. Wasnt surprised he was subbed with an injury he couldnt carry on with. If this was the case than that is all down to Ole. Shuold never have started.
5) Mason can be a greedy Baztard sometimes. Could be a good thing but today it wasn't. Could see Ronny getting frustrated at that.
6) We miss a creative force in CM. And that player isnt Pogba. He was playing all over the place today not very convincingly.
7) McFred was well, McFred. You could argue that Donny deserved a start after WestHam but apart from McT the other 2 arent really a good fit for that pivot roll.
8) Bruno seems to be in awe of Ronny and looks like a little boy playing with him like he does with Portugal. Hes no longer the main man at United and he knows it. The fact he took/was given the ball from Ronny to take the pen must have freaked him out. For him to actually miss the target in the last minute was pathetic.
9) The manager. Nothing he could do could seem to wake them up. The way we started the 2nd half was a jole. OK he lost 2 subs forced on him by injuries to defenders but it was crying out for a Sancho to give us more width.
As I have always maintained this season if it is obvious that United are or will be out of contetion by Christmas for the PL and we fail to qualify in the CL group miserably, then he will have nobody to blame but himself and will have to go. And his players dont look too worried about that prospect in their effort and urgency. Everybody at United needs to wake up and fast or things will have to change

About sums it up
Analyse those defeats and the opposition should and could have scored more!
……
Here is my analysis.
Young Boys - played against ten men for over an hour and they got a soft goal to win it because Lingard doesn’t look up when he passes.
West Ham- Cup match with a team that had Mata and Matic in it. We really should have won that game in the first half. Played our best football since the Leeds game.
Villa - we deserved to lose. Wrong set up and not one player had a good game.
I said ages ago that 4-2-3-1 will be Ole’s downfall and today was evidence of how teams easily play against it.
With the players he has available ( yes we need a top Dm) 4-3-3 just seems the right way to go for me.
And if a new manager came in it wouldn’t surprise me if they went that way.

It seems so obvious to play 4-3-3 that it baffling why we don’t his 4-2-3-1 was found out and busted as I posted earlier by relegation teams at OT like Sheffield United and West Brom but Ole just doesn’t learn it Groundhog Day
