Good game and we should be happy that we were part of such an entertaining game, also loving Brentford’s introduction to the Premier League.
Defence was an issue last season and this time it’s the midfield that lacks balance. I’m not convinced about Jones he still looks raw and a bit streaky. We needed Milner in there IMO
Like I said the modern Wimbledon. I.mean facking Marcus gayle played for them.
Throughout the game, there was a distinct lack of structure in the team. Every time the Bees attacked, the team looked like the proverbial rabbit caught in the headlights, no structure, all-join-hands-and-panic.
The whole back four were bad, not just VvD and Matip. Shame to see Curtis being subbed after such a wonderful spank of the ball in to the back of the net.
Finishing was dire.
The Bees looked like they were ready to take on the world, they never stopped moving forward.
They deserved at least a draw.
