Panic buying is a rational act. If you need personal transport then ensuring your supply of fuel is paramount. If something happens better to join the queue than risk being without fuel. Once BP made their announcement then anyone in that position would go immediately to buy fuel. It is only human nature, This government blaming people for doing what they can, to protect their interests, (one of the key "virtues" Tories live by) shows how out of touch they are with even their own supporters.

The oil companies are not government owned and are responsible for getting fuel to their garages. It has been said that this is a political act by some militant remoaners to eff the country up.
My car is half full and I didn't go out and panic buy and I'm a Tory, so Spart you could just be wrong for once.
I received a lorry load or 10 inch hardwood logs yesterday and I have an electric car and solar panels. Can't help feeing a bit smug -,which is totally against my nature. COYR and break that deficit.

So apart from a blue passport (made in France), being able to buy 11 lb of potatoes instead of 5 kg and putting a UK sticker on your car, what are the positives?
so smug in fact that I can't spell. but I AM PROUD TO BE A REMOANER and unamused to watch Johson et al off up the nation.

Wouldnt dream of speaking for him, but I dont think youre gonna find common ground with Spart on that one, VC
Unfortunately, it's all making a bit of a mess of the 'Fill the Ground' strategy for the next 2 games

Sovrentee innit ffs?
Scouse, I would absolutely love if someone/anyone would give him me an honest erudite answer on what are the positives of Brexit. But they won't because we do not have any.
Bat5hit slinging apart, the country does need an HONEST discusion and acknowledgement of the awful consequences of the base dishonesty of some ofthe claims which lead to Brexit (which include excluding "I told you so" )
Only then, will we move slowly and painfully forward.
'Sovrentee innit ffs?'
I got a tank-full of it yesterday
I have over half a tank but as I am going to Derby on Saturday and the Peak District on Sunday I am rationing myself.
VC why would some militant remoaners (as the gammon describe them) try and eff up the country when they have Brexiters doing an exceptional job of it?
I was just commenting that what panic buyers are doing fits perfectly with Tory ideas.
Well as my energy supplier has just this minute gone bust, I've unplugged the Mrs' hybrid and made her go and queue-up for some unleaded.
The country is a 5hitshow and I take absolutely no pleasure in saying it.
Buying match tickets on the DCFC is a shambles. I wanted 2 tickets in the seats next to me. There are 3 seats spare but I couldn’t buy 2 of these 3 seats because as the website stated it would leave 1 seat alone. I’ve had to buy 1 ticket 1 row behind and 1 ticket 2 rows behind me

It's a joke when there is a certainty that there won't be anywhere near a capacity crowd.
Some staff at the club have been made redundant today. Hope they all find other jobs while Morris sits in his mansion counting all his £££. The players snd staff have all had their tax deducted from their wages for the last 24months but this tax wasn’t paid to HMRC so where’s that gone?

It's up to an employer to deduct tax from an employees wages, then pay this to HMRC.
This is why the tax man usually come knocking when a business is in the mire, they have deducted it from wages, but haven't paid it to the tax man.
........... and it will be a tidy sum (~40% of a footballers wage).
