I think there has to be optimism otherwise things get bleak VERY quickly. Realistically things aren't going to settle down anytime soon with the international break coming up. We just need a win and everything will seem a little less terrible.
The optimism is as bad as we are we are still far too good to go down and we should be in Europe until at least the semis. We also got a decent draw in the league cup - even though I couldn’t care less about that comp personally.
We still have some very good players.
If this does indeed go tiiits up very soon then the likelihood of Levy hiring another defensive coach/manager will be slim to none.
The final positive is that the season is only 6 games old and we have got games against Arsenal and both of last seasons CL finalists out of the way.
No optimism at all from me.
I have no faith in Nuno whatsoever.

Decent perspective, sounding like a broken record but our bad football stems from our CBs. They continually refuse to play the ball into feet of players.
My hope is an introduction of Romero will change this. He prefers to play football instead of hoofball.

We definitely need to beat Villa but Nuno should understand you can win a game with solid possession and direct passing on the ground. He really has avoided 3 at back like it's been banned.
I would like to see him go back to the same sort of side at start of the season with the same ethos.
People were moaning then that we were not attractive enough and some were clammering for a creative midfielder. He introduced Ndombele and we haven't won since lol
We have to be realistic and grind results out just like we did at the start of the season.
Going forward Ndombele should only be used in the ropey league along with Moura, Sanchez, Dier and maybe Dele too.
I want to see GLC replace Ndombele in the prem team with Skipp and PEH.
Whilst Stevie B is injured Gil should start in the prem with Son and Kane up top.
A back three will never work. There will be too many gaps in our midfield just like the Arsenal game.
I hope the penny drops with Nuno that Rodon should be first choice CB with Romero in Prem.

................Son
.............Kane Gil
....Reg PEH Skipp Royal
Rodon Romero Tanganga
Park the front 7 in opposition half to pressure man to man...leave 3 back to cover any long balls. We have pacy full backs to recover.
I think we need to squeeze the opposition in their own half..especially teams outside last years top 6.
Kane is the conundrum...doesn't want to lead the line so might be better off as a 10 behind son.
No optimism whatsoever. Even if somehow we navigate a win against Villa, we will go back to square one with a loss in our next game. The club and team are incapable of any sort of consistency and this manager is massively out of his depth. Look at the stats, appalling reading. Season over for me already, we are achieving nothing.

The stats are shocking..the honeymoon is over for Dier Alli and Sanchez. All 3 need to be dropped and new faces with new energy needed.
Kane should be dropped till he is fit but we have no one else. So I guess he needs a penalty to get him going.
