Totally agree on Doherty. One of the worst signings of the ENIC era. The fact that Castagne was available that summer and by some accounts wanted to join, and we opted for this guy just really annoys the life out of me.

Some fans rated Doherty. He's really useless at the moment. At Wolves he knew he couldn't beat his opposite man on the outside so use to cut in and run at defences creating space for the attackers. Now he does neither

Good result, somehow to build on, hope Harry has hid mojo back.

No he didnt. We were never left with just Bent & FC.

After Keane & Berba went, we started the next season with Pavlyuchenko, FC, Bent and Dos Santos. Defoe came in later that season & Keane returned (Jan 2009)
