Zaha is much better but I doubt we’d be much better off.

Zaha is light years ahead of Pepe. He would have been excellent for us.

Pepe has been a huge disappointment and a ridiculously bad deal at £72m(!) for what he has delivered but I doubt Palace would have been realistic with their price for Zaha.

I don’t think at this stage that Pepe is likely to significantly improve, he’s got a wand of a left foot but he lacks pace, is largely one footed and struggles with the intensity of the Premier League - especially when tracking back.

I mean we have Saka now right, who is better than Pepe according to some. So its kind of irrelevant to compare to compare Zaha and Pepe at the moment.

Anyone with 2 brain cells knows who the better player is. Unfortunately, you only have 1.

Pepe just looks like he rarely works on his game. Plays with his back towards the opponents goal which, weak in the tackle, decision making poor. I just haven’t seen a vast improvement in his game. When he isolates a defender one on one he isn’t aggressive enough when driving at the fullback.

Pepe is the worst signing in prem history, so yeah, we'd be better off but not much better given Arteta would likely still have been appointed.

When I see players like Salah, it does make you think of the levels

Pepe isn't getting any better. It's now third season and he didn't improve very much.

People forget that Saka is still learning and very young. Compare Salah and Saka at same age and tell me who's better. Atm Salah is best player in league.

Saka has been really poor this season bar the spurs game.

Pepe vs Zaha is no contest as Zaha for us would have absolutely smashed it for us.

Pepe hasn't lived up to the hype but if you look at Zaha's numbers they really aren't that much better. It's a case of a big fish in a small pond. If he was that top player some people thought he was his performances would of demanded a top club pay the money that Palace wanted for him but its never happened. Decent player but a lot of hype around him.

If the last few years is anything to go by there isn't much difference playing for Palace and Arsenal certainly from an attacking point of view.

Zaha is light years ahead of Pepe. Case closed.

Pepe is gash but I don't see the fuss about Zaha either to be honest.
