Only luck has us within a few pts of top spot. In terms of playing standards, quality, intensity as a team we are miles behind both City and Liverpool.
We have individuals who produce great moments, Liverpool and City do this regularly as a "team".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And we've had way better fixtures. Let's see how close we are to the too after the next 5 games. My guess is a mile off

Yep
First test was yesterday and that was royally effed up.
I predicted 14 pts for the Oct-Nov run in, had yesterday down as a win so not a great start.
Like you say, let's see if Ole pulls a rabbit out of his arsene, sorry hat and surprises all of us with a great run of results. Live in hope!

Think you're not that far off personally. Ole often delivers against the big teams on the counter so while the fixture list is daunting on paper, might work to the opposite effect.
I do agree with others saying you are more of a bunch of individuals than us, City or Chelsea and that's why I can't see you winning the league.
Until we can at least match these teams in terms of effort

Liverpool’s squad is thin but I still didn’t understand why so many seemed to dismiss them at the start of the season. They still have one of the best mangers in the world and some brilliant players.

Squad is thin but first 11 is a match for anyone, factor in a winner in Klopp and you have a recipe for a title challenge.
Their only danger is being thin on the ground injuries to key players will end they hunt for major trophies.
If a United player scored a goal like Salah did today certain United 'fans' (Plump) would say Salah bailed out Klopp with a moment of individual brilliance.

Agreed 100%.
Think many pundits have shot their lose prematurely over Chelsea also some almost putting their name on the trophy.
Yes they are top but I don’t think are quite on the level of those 2.

Did you see the Liverpool vs Chelsea game? Chelsea were the better side before the sending off, and more than held their own when a man down.
