Lingard would make sense, as would some players from Madrid/ Barca, probably some free transfers in the summer.

They haven’t spent much under Ashley, so I’d imagine they’ll be okay on FFP for a summer or two. It’ll be interesting.

I’m sure some of those will already have plans, but the money Newcastle could offer, may turn some heads.

Lingard a great shout, Bernardo would be quality as well, Rice will go to one of the current powers

Tbf she said their ambition is to win the title in the next 5-10 years. Get they impression they know they can’t just rock up and win it within a few years. Who they replace Bruce with will be quite revealing.

I can’t see Everton allowing DCL to leave, they’re not short of a bob or 2, but Lingard is a perfect buy, and it could lead to a bidding war with West Ham. The Hammers will be kicking themselves if they lost him to Newcastle.

I can see them raiding Pool, a lot of their players are around 30 and have only 1 last mega contract in them, so would jump at the chance of the wages on offer.

Salah for example, he has just 18 months left on his Klanfield contract, approaching 30 and Pool will not be able to match the wages Newcastle will throw at him. You can bet his agent has already been approached.

The same applies to Mane and others, Pool`s owners are businessmen, and could see it as the right time to sell.

He's an obvious target but I'm not sure at 28 he'll want to wait for as long as it will likely take for them to really challenge. Then again, he's unlikely to win anything at Spurs any time soon, whilst at least there is a very good chance that he could do so at Newcastle in time.

I think theyll look to poach from teams just below that top rung just now. The very best still arent going to go there just yet. That didnt happen with city.

Guys like calvert lewin, delle ali, maybe saka, tielemans, tyrone mings, adama traore, rafinha.

I could see them trying to make a big statement signing but again a haaland or mbappe isnt happening. They might push the boat out with a ridiculous offer for bellingham and almost see him as they guy to build this all round over the next 10 years but I still think thats of a stretch initially.
