Would almost certainly be a mistake. It was one of our best bits of recent business managing to sell him to Liverpool for a decent fee
It's crazy but Ox was our best player in his last season.
I know he has won trophies at pool but what a flop of a signing
We need players with a better class of bird than that ugly skank he is with.
I do like Ox as a player but again, he isn't a MF player. The fact that players like Curtis Jones gets more game time says it all

When can I drive him down?
Sounds like a Newcastle signing

What's the general feeling amongst pool fans on Ox?

So weird. Distinctly remember being told by Liverpool posters here they were buying our best player.
At a bargain price too.
I mean... it’s not like we didn’t try to warn them.

He needs to play week in and week out to get his confidence and form and when that's happened he's been good. The issue is that fitness prevents that and he takes too long to get back up to speed. I'd be happy for him to stay.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Said this about ox when he left. His career cycle is that he finds form, gets a big injury, returns, takes a few months to find form, then gets a big injury again.
It's a shame as he's a likeable fellow, seems popular amongst the team mates aswell.

Yeah, he's a stocky boy. His body just can't cope with the demands his style of play requires.

He was really good in his first season but then did his knee against Roma and we have not seen that Ox since. Picked up a few more lengthy injuries and now is a backup to a 18 and 20 year old.

He was likely your best player at the time and if he goes back to Arsenal will likely be the best player in tge current Arsenal team.
But he clearly wasn’t, and clearly won’t be.
I would say try again, but you’ve embarrassed yourself enough already.
Ox was not our best player at the time. Alexis got 30 goals and 18 assists for us that season. It's pretty obvious who our best player was.
Liverpool would have won the CL and PL without Ox. In fact, I'm pretty sure he only got a CL winners medal because he was named as part of the squad. There's not a chance any Liverpool fan can tell me he's been a successful signing.
This was one of the very rare times where we did well from selling a player.
1st season he looked like he really could be something special for us. He had a great run then the roma injury happened. I think we missed him badly in the final that year.
That being said enough time has passed since for him to regain form and have an impact in the side and hes done neither. This season he has looked very devoid of confidence. With jones improving and the emergence of elliot I think its probably best he moved on.
Very frustrating because hes one of them you feel could be top notch. But he just never gets there.
