Clickbait thing is the absolute worse, people need to stop clicking, it's a reward system for the brain that people need to break. It's same with tick-tock videos etc etc, people are profiting from this and what for?
Don't forget to cut out your Jamal K face templates when you come up against the Geordies this season.
Fans, especially EPL fans, pay a shed load of money to follow their clubs, they have every right to voice their unhappiness. As a great man once said, football without the fans is nothing and there's nothing wrong in reminding the money men of that fact.
I think it's being noticed more ad people are online and it's accessible to so many more people these days anyway.
I do feel like a club has a right to voice their discontent if they believe the club is performing poorly in a certain areas, such as on the pitch or off it. It's an expensive hobby for a lot of people is football and it's them who pay the money that impact what the club can do financially in so many ways. You lose them, you lose a lot of your club.
Any fool with a phone can make their voice heard.
Back in the day, to complain you had to write a letter of objection, which at least ruled out them what dont reed and rite to good, and with the cost of a stamp and a walk to the post box necessary, it was only the truly offended that sought to have their voice heard.
Now a "fan" who lives anywhere in the world, may never have been to a Spurs game or put a penny into the club and sit there in his pants eating his daily breakfast of a Rustler microwave burger and a can carling at 1pm in the afternoon, and type "lack of ambition" "Levy out" etc

These days fans are seen as nothing but consumers, and no more so than at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Sports Entertainment Project.

Protest, activism, and politics has always been part of sport, and has its place. In our particular context the club deem it appropriate to charge the highest/some of the highest ticket prices in England, and with very little to show for it. Glad certain fan groups are taking a stand.
