I don't think there's any argument at present.

Has to be. Haaland is probably the only one really playing close to that level at the minute. He doesn't have the finesse of Salah but he's just an absolute beast and his numbers are insane, albeit in a more charitable league in terms of defenders. Also bangs them in in the CL too.

Still Salah probably has to be number one at this moment though

Big shout for Bobby too. 3 goals today playing like Ian rush sniffing goals out , but salah world class and enjoying his football ball very rarely gets injured too.

This is a different Salah this season. Not just the goals and assists we are used to from previous seasons but now his first touch, power, pace are up from previous seasons and the biggest change is his ability to turn both ways. Usually defenders will try and stop him cutting in and shoot but now he goes the other way and puts defenders on their backsides for fun.

Right now he's a very complete forward. The guy is a team player, goalscorer, entertainer, hardworking, ultra athletic/strong and like you say doing amazing things technically.

A wonderful player right in the cutting edge.....the only higher level in my opinion is the all time greats like say Ronaldinho or Messi

As great a goal that Salah scored v Watford, it is not the best.
This remains the goal by Dennis Bergkamp v Newcastle

No. A big no.

He won’t win the Ballon D’Or for scoring a few good goals against average teams. What has he won this year, individually or with Liverpool?

No it was a Bergkamp first touch, in fact that's probably the very goal that Lukaku watched over and again as a youngster, so he could copy it one day as a pro himself.
